Thanks to the efforts of Adam at Platinum Cellars we are now able to experience some of the delightful beers that we could only dream of. Cost is irrelevant even though there is a serious kick to the kredit kard every time I visit. I enjoyed this with Dave and Steve, my two mates who now bow their heads and admit tht they too, are beer nerds. This was our last beer of the night where there were many great beers supped before this. But still a beautiful beer. Great coffee aromas with roasted malt and caramel. Thick as a triple espresso with a similarly coloured crema. A delighful blend of coffee flavours and well hopped bittereness being supported by a great malt roastiness. A fantastic nightcap.
Just solid. No complaints. Sweet chocolate with mild coffee. Well rounded in every way, shape, and form. vinivini (2850) - Gomel, BELARUS - OCT 19, 2017
Can. Opaque black. Moderate beige head. Aroma: coffee, earth, molasses, roasted malts, fruit jam. Medium to full body. Medium dry to light sweet taste. Roast, coffee, earth, vinous, dried fruit. Light to medium bitterness. Very good. Yet I've had some better impies. jw0406 (1302) - atlanta, Georgia, USA - OCT 19, 2017
16 oz can pours a black color with a nice tan head. Aromas of coffee, chocalte, roasted malt. Full bodied, somehow creamy and balanced, a truly amazing beer.

Big and potent aroma with quality chocolate, huge roasted malts and coffee notes, caramel, toffee, liquor. Almost no alcohol, just pure awesomeness. Taste is embedded in a full body, with a creamy mouthfeel and low carbonation. Fudge, dark chocolate, hazelnut, roasted malts, espresso coffee and alcoholic spiciness. Finish is pure liquid unsweetened chocolate. No astringency, no messing around. An absolute beast. Chalumeaux (1659) - Middleton, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 15, 2017
Poured from can dated 01/17 pitch black pour with a nice creamy mocha head. Aromas of roasted malt chocolate coffee and vanilla. Taste is lucious and creamy super mouth feel coffee chocolate vsnilla. Super beer. I wonder if there is a difference between the can and the bottle.

Strong aroma of chocolate and coffee.
Explosive taste of coffee, chocolate, hints of prunes and grape. Thick and creamy, well balanced and drinkable.

What makes this beer great it's probably incredible balance. Nothing is to much and nothing is not enough. Nothing is sticking out. Just enough of coffee and chocolate. Moderate sweetness, untraceable alcohol , roasted bitterness. Highest level of imperial stout.

Pours thick black with a thin head. Aroma is mainly roasted malt and coffee. The flavour is think chocolate milkshake with coffee, so smooth. Amazing beer beton (685) - Tarnobrzeg, POLAND - OCT 1, 2017
