A brown beer with a small disappearing orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of alcohol and oranges. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate and coffe, while the alcohol burns slightly in the throat while You sip this nice beer. Quite strong for a Scotch Ale - more like a Barley Wine. joergen (29216) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 23, 2006

Bottled (thanks stoutlover72). Dark ambery brown colour with mediumsized beigeish brown head. Quite big maltyness along with some toffee and alcohol. Quite strong on the chocolate and nuttynesss as well. Flavour is quite much the same in a very fullbodied way. The alcohol is a bit too strong even though this has been kept since I got it in 2006.
