COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This refreshing, light-golden Extra Pale Ale embodies drinkability. AleSmith X pushes the limits by offering a level of flavor not often found in this classic style. Fresh American hops are abundant but carefully balanced by a light, crisp body and smooth bitterness. Notes of citrus and pine combine with a delicate malt sweetness to create a flavorful drinking experience.

Clear, bright light orange body and a big, soapy, bright white head. Clean malt and lemony hops dominate, with very light and drying resinous aftertastes and just a hint of alcohol near room temperature. Light and clean palate that does not overwhelm given all of the flavor this beer possesses. Usually, my palate is saturated by overwhelming pale ales, but this APA is one that I can have several of and walk away with a fairly clean palate, even going back to lighter styles like a kolsch or pils.

Compleja y brillante.

Rated on 6-26-2017. This bottled beer’s appearance is a medium sized white semi-frothy head that is mostly lasting, transparent gold body, fast rising carbonation observed, and one ring of lacing. The aroma is citrus hops, pine, tropical fruit, earthy, floral, caramel, and malt. The flavor is lightly bitter, citrus hops, pine hops, earthy, lightly sweet, tropical fruit, spicy, and a semi-dry finish. The mouthfeel is light carbonation and smooth. This beer is light-medium bodied. This is a very easy and refreshing beer with a light bitter finish. The flavors come together very nicely and this is a beer that I would like to purchase again.

A lovely copper color with a huge white head. The aroma is spritzy sweet citrus while The taste is malt forward then fuzzy pine and old dried citrus peel. Alright but most likely better fresh.

bomber. Piny nose, with a bit of caramel. Glowing deep gold. Lots of pine, grapefruit, orange, mellow caramel, biscuits. Crisp and peppery finish. A well-done classic.

Aroma:
Medium aroma of malts, caramel, honey, fruit, bread, hops and citrus.

Appearance:
Turbid/opaque golden/amber beer with heavy yeast and with a slight/medium white/off-white head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, honey and fruit; ends slightly bitter and dry with bread, hops and citrus.

Overall:
This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. Could have used more distinct fruit flavours. It is not a bad beer by any means, but still could have been so much more.
