Black color, medium sized head. Aroma of alcohol and some Bourbon, eggs. Good body strength; chocolate flavor, but this one is really heavy on booze and Bourbon.
I like this kind of beers, it’s not really balanced though.

Very dark mahogony brown with a small tan covering.
Nose is roast malt, bourbon notes, dark chocolate, dark toffee fudge, oaky waft.
Taste comprises dark chocolate, treacle toffee, woody tones, bitter cocoa, earthy.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, dry roasty finish.
Decent work. mcberko (19880) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 1, 2012
22 oz. bottle, sent from BigTomz (thanks Tom), pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of bourbon barrels, chocolate cake, vanilla and booze - very inviting. Flavour of vanilla and bourbon barrels, baker’s chocolate and fudge. Lighter bodied than a stout, but still full flavours, finishing with a chocolatey note. Smooth and velvety. Delicious.
