Bottle as part of a fantasy baseball winnings. Thanks. Pours black with a one finger creamy khaki brown head. Very nice aroma of sweet chocolate and sugar, molasses, caramel, anise, some dark fruit. Flavor is sweet molasses, roast, some chocolate and toffee, brown sugar, lightly bitter roast bite to finish. Medium to thick bodied with medium high carbonation and a dry finish. Wow. This is a really good porter and I suspect it would work nicely with some barrels, too. JBPortland (1543) - Hampton Roads, Virginia, USA - OCT 26, 2014
22oz bottle pours inky brown black with a finger of tan head. Nose is rich earthy dirt, bark, spice, coffee, molassess sweetness, cocoa, bitter burnt chocolate, roast. Palate is silky soft and holds all the complexities of the nose with a nice earthy sweetness which compliments the dark fruity spices without becoming cloying. Finish is spice cocoa, ash, dark fruit, sweet molasses. Very impressed and would love to see what barrel aging could do to this. AWISLguy (3016) - Wisconsin, USA - OCT 19, 2014
Bomber from Drake - thanks Dan! 6 4 14 bottle date. Pours dark cola colored - almost black but for the brown highlights - with an early brown head that faded to nothing quickly, leaving no lacing. Aroma has sweet molasses, chocolate, simple sugar and some roast. Later down the glass, the molasses is stronger, and some anise and brown sugar show through. Taste is of sweet milk chocolate, molasses, caramel and brown sugar with roasty malts and light licorice. Down in the glass, the sweetness overwhelms everything else. Medium to full bodied and sticky. Not much alcohol presence. Finishes long and more sweet than bittersweet, with tangy anisette. Solid flavors, but too sweet to be top notch. 14.3 Dr_Fellini (1020) - Norfolk, Virginia, USA - SEP 19, 2014

Sample at the DBLDP on 08/31/2014. Dark mahogany color with a medium tan head that diminishes steadily. Partial rings of lacing. Roast malt, coffee and caramel in the nose. Medium to full body with flavors of roasted coffee, chocolate malt and toffee. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Pretty good overall. Date stamp of 6 2 14. 22 oz bomber into a tulip. Pours a pitch black with a finger of clinging khaki foam. Nose is roast, chocolate, sweet vanilla, faint dark fruits and some caramel. Taste is a nice balance of light roasted coffee, chocolate, sweet vanilla and some earthy toffee. Creamy body but doesn’t linger forever. This is a very good porter. nimbleprop (8280) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - AUG 2, 2014
22oz bottle of the 2014 edition, weighing in at 8.5% abv. Pours a watery, but translucent deep brown with some foamy, off white head. Nose has a lot of chocolate and plenty of molasses, licorice too, some toast, a hint of booze, some dried fruit too, some cola. Flavor reminds me more of a milk stout that I would have though, some of that lacto sugar, molasses, less chocolate than the nose let on, a little toast, some distinct maraschino cherry. Full bodied, sticky finish. hershiser2 (3048) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - FEB 10, 2014
