Shared 11.2 oz. bottle. Copper hue with off-white head. Aroma of caramel, malt and bread. Taste follows with a dash of spice and some faint herbal notes. Fairly mild malt and hops profiles, but they blend together rather nicely. Not bad. darbeer75 (901) - Round Rock, Texas, USA - JAN 20, 2016
Aroma: slightly roasty and malty with a little funk; Appearance: dark straw with minimal head; Taste: lager-like with some extra flavor; not as bad as I was anticipating; Palate: light body with unpleasant aftertaste; Overall: run of the mill; would not buy again. hawthorne00 (3943) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - NOV 21, 2015
Bottle, bb 2/16. Clear amber with a white head that’s soon a coat. Toasty aroma with lemon and some orange peel. There’s a restrained slightly funky note and some dried fruit too. On the light side of medium bodied. Malty but only moderately sweet with singed notes, raisins and bread. Grapefruit as well as lemon, some light herbal notes at the modestly bitter finish. A little light bodied, but subtle and more than pleasant. crossovert (12899) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 19, 2015
33cl bottle. They call it a biere de garde and i can maybe see it, definitely meant to be a more malt-forward amber.

It poured an amber color with a white head. The aroma was of malts, biscuits, some caramel and earthy notes. The taste was similar to the aroma with malty sweetness, caramel and hops. Nice. rayaron (1830) - Kfar Saba, ISRAEL - DEC 20, 2014
Bottle 330ml. Slightly hazy copper with small off-white head. Sweet aroma, fruity (peach, apricot), grainy, syrupy, hint of dulce de leche. Sweet flavor, some fruitiness, grainy, corn, faint cooked vegetables notes, semi-dry sour finish. Light carbonation, light to medium-bodied. Dull. drfabulous (7941) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - JUL 24, 2014
Draught at The Brothers restaurant in Tel Aviv. Amber color, some light caramel, fairly decent. Not sure why it is Biere de Garde. terefere (396) - Durham, USA - JUN 25, 2014
\bottle. Pours golden, clear, sparkling, small head. Aroma: bread, caramel, butterscotch, hint of vanilla. Taste: brown sugar, bread, toffee, yeast, hint of dark fruits. eRock_2013 (469) - South Carolina, USA - JUN 22, 2014
While their "interpretation" of the style may be somewhat loose, this is still an enjoyable and distinctive brew. Recognizable as a Bier de Garde, although not as strong and flavorful as my past encounters with this variety of beer. Very soft both on the palate and the taste. Aroma is pleasant, brown sugar, cinnamon, caramel malt. Slightly aged accent. Appearance is strange, very carbonated almost like a champagne, nice copper amber color. Flavor of yeast, fruits, not-quite-roasted malts, and caramel. Nice flavor profile, but I wish more flavorful. Finishes slightly sour and bitter. Intriguing overall, I am becoming increasingly interested in this style.
