Alexander Green is the second in our series of seasonal beers, a hoppy beer based on the known IPA style but with our Israeli twist. The hops are at the front - starting with a wonderful fruity aroma of grapefruit, guava, mango and other fruits. At the mouth, smooth sweetness and full body balanced by a grapefruit-like long lasting bitter finish.

Bottle in Israel - To be honest, I didnt know till now, this was an IPA. It is stronger hopped than the average lagers, yes, quite sweet and fruity. Interesting.

Very nice (Borat voice) I like! You will never get this. But one day I got. For real though this beer is legit

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a cloudy golden color with a large white head. The aroma is fruity and has a grass and yeast smell also. The taste is grassy with some hops and fruit. Overall, an interesting IPA.

Ket at Beer Market. Pale gold with white head. Citrus aroma, grapefruit, orange and pine. Similar taste, sharp and citrusy, grapefruit. Dry and bitter. Nice

Bottle, bb 12/15 (Gefen in E St K). Pale amber with an inch of white head. Aroma of lemons, citrus leaves, minerals, honey, biscuit. Sweet with lots of honey, some biscuit, no caramel. Again the citrus comes across to me as more lemon than grapefruit. Some underripe mango, white pepper. Too much honey for me and the herbal notes from the interesting hops were a bit much at the end, but pretty good and I liked that it had a local twist.

chinchill (4929) - South Carolina, USA - AUG 8, 2015
12 oz bottle. This has the hop level of a traditional APA and near a contemporary session IPA but has a large load of caramel malts that not only keep the bitterness down to a mild level but leaves a strong taste of caramel lasting all the way through the aftertaste. O: interesting version of an IPA thatís a bit off-style

Brentv (672) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 23, 2015
I see the previous reviews and all I can say is I got a great bottle. I enjoyed this on July 2015, and the bottle lot is marked L0805A, whatever that tells us. HUGE fruit hops aroma with a huge fruity punch to match and a lovely bitterness and finish. Nice sweetness in there. I double-checked the bottle to see if I had gotten a dipa but itís marked ipa with 6% abv. The taste is bigger than the specs. I love this beer, holy water frim the Sea of Galilee. I hope Iím not disappointed next time, but Iíll surely buy this again.

Bottle shared thanks to Mrhangover. Pours hazy to cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma of biscuity malt, cardboard, light fruity hops and light citrus. Maybe this bottle is a bit old? The hops are certainly subdued. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle, thnx to Rayaron. Pours a clear golden, orange beer with a small white head on top. Aroma is cardboard, dusty, moldy and rather old. Flavour is a bit sweet, old and not hoppy at all. Seems the hops have faded from the palate unfortunately. Meh.
