COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Alexander Green is the second in our series of seasonal beers, a hoppy beer based on the known IPA style but with our Israeli twist. The hops are at the front - starting with a wonderful fruity aroma of grapefruit, guava, mango and other fruits. At the mouth, smooth sweetness and full body balanced by a grapefruit-like long lasting bitter finish.

Bottled (thanks DSG!). Hazy orangeish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, caramelly, mild floral and toasted notes as well. Flavour is nutty, earthy, grassy with some slight caramel and mild floral notes. Feels more lika richly hopped lager than an ale.

Tasting at ChrisOs. Clear gold beer, little white head. Light semi dry palate. Light floral sweetness with a murmur of marmalade citrus underneath. Softish finish. Actually all right.

Papsoe (25059) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 22, 2013
Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of ThreeCats. Pours a hazy golden with a rough white head. The nose has some biscuit malt and tangerine. Medium body, dry and fruity with some light citrus notes leading to a rather unrefined bitterness. Clearly the good intentions are there, but the beer doesn’t really deliver. Sorta like a US mainstream IPA. A little late fustiness. 220413

Leighton (22054) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 28, 2013
Bottle at the ChrisO Flags of Many Nations Easter 2013 Tasting - London. Pours clear yellow-gold with a frothy white head. Decent pissy hops in the nose, fresh grass and grapefruit. Medium sweet flavor with a nice pale malt base, light dough, fine grass, orange, pine needles. Light to medium bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Lightly resinous to finish with more pine needles, lightly sugary citrus, orange rind. Pretty good.
