Great citrus aroma, golden colour with a great head. A sour yeasty taste with a watery palate of yeast. mkel07 (5835) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - OCT 10, 2013
440ml can from The Beer Store. Nice beer in a can. Packed full of big hoppy aromas and a dull amber colour. Full bodied in the mouth. shorlin (721) - St. John’s, Newfoundland, CANADA - OCT 6, 2013
Aroma is nice, good Cascade notes of citrus, little bit of resin. not a big aroma but very pleasant. Appearance is OK as well, good amber colour, lasting head but no lace, more clingy. That taste and feel, however, disappoint mightily just like the Hallertauer. No bitterness, no real body. Little aftertaste at the end. It’s the same beer as the Hallertauer, but with the Cascade disappointment instead. I give it a lower rating because I love Cascade hops so much, so I’m even more disappointed. jksipa (914) - Newmarket, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 29, 2013
Bottle from the Beer Store/ Pours a very clear copper with a generous beige head that quickly dissipates. Nose is caramel and citrus. Body is light, watery and fairly flat with some bitterness in the finish. sudomorph (1150) - Barrie, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 27, 2013
473ml can. Pours a transparent copper colour with a two finger, off-white head that fades quickly. Bobbles can be seen rising to the surface.
Aroma is abundant but simple. Notes of citrus and bread. Perhaps a very mild spice and sweetness.
Taste is bitter with a slightly fruity, bready, sour, bitter aftertaste.
Low-medium body and carbonation. Crisp in the mouth with a watery texture.
Overall but really a fan. The aroma is decent enough but the taste is a bit off putting. Kind of a lot going on but nothing really standing out. Has more taste than other mass-produced brews but this one could have been tweaked a bit more.

Somehow I had high hopes that Keith’s hop series would be decent, maybe I thought they would feel guilty calling their main beer an IPA when it clearly is not and would try to make good with this. Opening the bottle one can smell the hops but that is where the positives end. This tastes like their main beer but with some extra hops. The malt is watery and bland and tastes like it has a fair bit of corn in it like their regular beer. A little bit of extra hops can not hide that. It is not unpleasant and is easy drinking but still very bland and watery. It is better than their "IPA" but I can not say much else positive about it. (804-100913) Reimer96 (1743) - Alberta, CANADA - SEP 15, 2013
Pours a clear deep amber with a small white head. Aroma of grass, citrus and pale malts. Taste is grassy, some citrus presence and a mild bitterness throughout. Not nearly as bad as it thought it would be. AWS9 (696) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 31, 2013
Can. Kinda lame bubbly pour, amber gold. Interesting nose, which is intriguing for a Keiths brew. Floral/grass hops. Tame mouthfeel, but decent bitter hop finish. Not the most appealing pale ale, but actually has some decent execution. bunget (960) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 26, 2013
473ml can. Light copper body, medium yellow-orange head with average retention. Aroma of caramel, grapefruit, spices, honey. Taste has a nice bitter kick from the hops, caramel, sweet malts, a tad metallic. Slightly bitter and slightly worse than Hallertauer version, but still decent.
