Bottle. Pours slightly murky reddish brown with small creamy beige head, sweet malt aroma, medium carbonation, mildly bitter woodsy malt taste, smooth body, long woodsy finish. Nice one.

3.6
MarkoNm (3013) - Novo mesto, SLOVENIA - SEP 17, 2017
Pours dark chestnut brown, topped with a medium sized and nicely lasting tan head. Medium malty aroma, biscuity with quite some woodiness and some nuts, gently roasty. Gently malty sweet, a bit of caramel with just a hint of bitterness in the finish. Light body with very sparkly feel, lots of carbonation. A decent one, really.

Ok, I think I have the right beer here. Just labeled Alexander, it’s a Scotch Ale, brewed by Unibrau. No the great though, and a different label, but who knows? If I’ve got this wrong let me know. But the truth is this beer isn’t anything to write home about. Clear brown pour with soapy dense head. It’s all malt, some mild sweetness with a mildly bitter finish. I’d say nothing to write home about, but I’m in Greece and I’m writing....

King_Alex_II (1227) - SWITZERLAND - JUL 3, 2016
Caramel, copper color with foam ring. The nose is sweet, with alcohol and raisins. The taste is mostly water with a little sugary sweetness. Disappointingly in existent aftertaste.

anstei (2747) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - JUN 26, 2016
Bottle. Aroma of apple crumble. Turns into bubbly water on the tongue, nothing on the palate either. And I mean nothing, at least not bad.

3.3
Ascelja (1893) - Neratovice, CZECH REPUBLIC - APR 2, 2016
#563
Bottle 0.33l. Deep red to brown body, small beige head. Aroma of berries, honey, caramel. Taste is bitter, slightly sour and tart. Red berries, cranberries, honey, malts, rowanberries. Medium body and carbonation.
Refreshing fruity ale, good one.
