I didn’t expect much of this beer but I am pleasantly surprised. Nice and coppery color, tastes a little groundy with some alcohol and hops. pivnizub (10726) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - MAR 13, 2009
Bottle: Copper coloured, big beige pillowy head, that slowly collapses; sweetish dark-.malty and bisquity nose; moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, relatively light bodied; toasted malt and some restrained bitterness in the sweet caramelly finish. Rather unspectacular, but pleasant Dutch Bock............ fonefan (49997) - VestJylland, DENMARK - FEB 2, 2009

Pours lovely ruby-red with a medium, frothy, off-white head. Aroma has light caramel, some citric hops with a light smoky note. Highish carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour is a bit metallic, some sweet malts. Lots of dryness and a light fruitiness. Quite hoppy finish. Okay.
(Bottled, drank at about 15C) Clear, dark amber with a smallish, firm head. Aroma of caramel and some roasted malt, with a hint of sourness and smoke. Sweetish-malty, caramely flavor with some alcohol presence, and dried fruit. Almost medium body with quite smooth carbonation. A simple, but smooth and reasonably balanced bock with not too much sweetness. Borresteijn (7340) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - AUG 13, 2008
Bottle @ a tasting session. Ruby brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of roasted malts and caramel. Flavour is very metallic, roasted malts and some dark fruits. Quite bitter. Bit thin. Don’t like the metallic flavour at all.
