Very nice beer, but it lacks the characteristic bock flavour. Nice and mild full flavour.

This is the best dutch bokbier from the more known breweries!

Countbeer (6592) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - NOV 3, 2010
Bottle: Nice very light brown vast foamy head on top of a clear orange brown beer. Smell sweets, spices, (toasted) malts, caramel, alfa pilsner and yeats. Taste is a very well balanced sweet dark fruity bitter mix. Low to mid carbo, fruity, spices, malts, long dark fruity bitter aftertaste.

This is a nice soft flavoured bokbeer. Nice brown-red color. Nice foamy head. Very malty smell, taste aswell. Subtle use of bitters, not to sweet, and that is just the way i like it.

Rerate 2002: Weaker than last year. Still the smooth palate, but it has become a more average bock. Original rate: 4. One of the better bocks i have to say. Smells very good, bocky. Dark brown appearance. Sweetness, hops, typical bock brew. But overall everything a good bock needs is present.

Amber colored, not very strong aroma. Little sweet flavor. All by all nice beer.

Bottle 33cl. @local AH supermarket. Clear dark amber, large frothy beige head, good retention and lacing; sweet malty aroma, light roasted, caramel, blueberry notes; taste medium to light heavy sweet, light bitter, bit sugary, malty, light fruitiness; medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, aftertaste mild bittersweet, light roast and spicy notes in the finish; very pleasant Bock.

The beer had a nice look. The color is a reddish brown. The beer is nicely clear. The beer pours a thick layer of white foam. The bulk of the foam collapses quickly and a thin drape of foam remains on top of the foam. The beer has a nice smell. The smell is sweet with a tiny bitterness. There are aromas of red forest fruits, caramel and syrup. I also smell some hops. The smell is less than most bok beers. The taste has a nice almond flavor, of the alcohol. I also taste some syrup, caramel and sugar. The taste is nice, but a little bit less than most bok beers. But, all in all, not bad.

Nice look; dark, beautifull head. Malty, fruity aroma. Smooth a little spicy, malty taste. Smooth, good palate.
