RBESG 2009 @ the Harlequin. Golden colro with white head. Malty, decnt hops but rather boring and uninspired. Thin body. cgarvieuk (24465) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 21, 2010
bottle at home .... hazy yellow ... thing white lacing .... soft honey yeasy nose ... bitter fruit hop ... light dry ... not for me ... JanEric (1233) - Meppel, NETHERLANDS - FEB 21, 2010
Gold blond colour, lots of carbonation, small white head. Aroma is hops and malts, some pepper. Sparkling in mouth, hoppy, fresh, but it’s more like a pilsner with a shot of alcohol. Nice finish though, the alcohol is well hidden. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - NOV 9, 2009
From the Bottle at RBESG Harlequin, Sheffield 19/07/2009
Hoppy aroma. Golden coloured and hoppy with a crisp slightly dry and fruity finish. Quinten (1062) - zaandam, NETHERLANDS - NOV 9, 2009
At an mitra in purmerend, bottle 30cl, golden, medium lasting head, some hinds of fruits and caramel, but most boring and malt liquor alcoholboost like.

After the beer was served in the glass there was found a lasting quantity not wall adhesive white foam collar which was fine and evenly of structure. The beer also contained much carbonic acid in the glass.
The beer has a clear golden color and a sweet taste. The after tast of the beer is hoppy bitter with a fruity touch. This beer smells fruity. jbrus (4990) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - NOV 5, 2009

To me it tasted like a pretty boring strong lager. Nothing else there but maybe a hint of caramel and some yellow fruits.
4-way bottle tasting at Arendsnest. Pale gold with a tall head. Slightly citrus nose. Refreshing taste of oragnes, with some bananas notes. Warming finish. harrisoni (18578) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - OCT 4, 2009
Bottle at RBESG 09 Sheffield. Pale gold colour thin white head. OK lager. Sweetish. Straling (364) - Hoensbroek, NETHERLANDS - SEP 14, 2009
I was actually the first person to get this beer outside of the brewery, but it was in a package with the 3 other "echt 2009" beers from local Dutch breweries, which I thought was a shame to ruin, so it took me until now to get my hands on a separate bottle.
Pours a nice clear golden colour with a good size head and nice carbonation.
Aroma has a great balance of several sweet fruits and also has a nice bit of bitterness there to balance it all out.
The taste basically all that the nose gives away, nicely balanced once again.
Goes down with a tiny bit of warmth, too bad this is a one off beer, I think it’s Alfa’s best brew so far!
