0.33 l bottle shared with ?omo, Dinko and Jela. Thanks Dinko. Dark brown with small off white head. Light and sweet. Caramel and dark malts aroma. Brown sugar. Very light finish, but that’s normal for the style.

30 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a golden orange glare and a small tan head. Aroma is fruity yeasty with a light caramelish malt note. Sweet malt flavoured, light yeasty/estery fruity. Sweet lingering finish.

After the beer was served in the glass there was found a lasting quantity not wall adhesive light brown foam collar which was fine and evenly of structure. The beer also contained much carbonic acid in the glass. The beer has a clear dark brown color and a sweet taste. The after tast of the beer is yeastybitter with a roasted malty touch. This beer smells sugarly.

Bottle, 300 ml at home. My 3rd different Oud Bruin for tonight and this one has a two finger light beige head which lowers slowly, leaving no lacing on the glass. The colour is amber but lighter than the ones I had before. Aroma is of malts, some caramel and some pears maybe. All very faint. Taste is sweet and fruity with the typical sour aftertaste being there but very discreetly. Thick on the body and quite carbonated. Leaves the palate dry.

clear orange brown, thin tan head, sweet malty nose, caramel, brown sugar, citrus, medium sweet, bit roasty, hint of sourness, light body, thin texture, sugary sweet, slightly bitter and a hint of sourness

Dark brown sweet low alcohol beer. Mixes nicely with alfa's pilsener. Not my favourite type of beer.

bierkoning (13596) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - DEC 22, 2002
Sweet flavor with brown sugar and caramel. Fresh, with just a hint of sourness. Has more bite and body than most other oud bruin beers.

Hildigöltur (5104) - København, DENMARK - JUN 30, 2004
Dark brown coloured. Buttery and sugary. Extremely sweet and caramelly. Very thin and watery.
