30 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Hogerdijk, Culemborg. Old yellow with a thin quickly diminishing white head. Malty aroma. Fairly sweet and a bit thin mouthfeel. Short medium bitter aftertaste. I like the normal Alfa pilsener better to be honest, this one is too sweet for me.

Pours cloudy amber. Has a nice buttery white head. Lots of sediment in suspension. Smells delicious like a pale ale. Earthy malt and german hefe yeast combine well with the health addition of hops to this brew. It’s going down quite well.

kapusil (1432) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JAN 26, 2016
0.33l bottle. Clear deep golden body, decent white head. The aroma is quite sweet with notes of sugary bread, grains, orange zest and some apples. Taste is similar to the aroma. Sweet bread, apples, grains and a hint of floral hops. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. OK beer.

Nice aroma of fresh hops and perhaps almonds. Boozy dortmunder with a creamy body almost reminds me of a heller bock. Only slightly better than what macro breweries are doing and with more alcohol. True it’s sweeter and drinkable nonetheless, but still nothing special.

0.33 l bottle as "Alfa Limburgs Super Dort" from Firma Bier, best before June 2016. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminshing, white head. Sweetish-malty aroma with grassy notes of grains, hay and a bit of butter. Sweetish-malty, slightly grassy taste of caramel, grains and hay, followed by a short, light grassy-hoppy finish. Thin to medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite sweet and not very exciting, but still round and quite quaffable. Nothing wrong with it.

3.2
kermis (13479) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - OCT 6, 2015
Bottle at Locus Publicus, Rotterdam. Pours clear orange golden with a medium off white head. Aroma of light fruity hops, orange peel, citrus and grain. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter with more orange peel hops coming out a little juicy in the palate. Light to light medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Andy_ (1110) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 3, 2015
330 ml bottle
White golden clear beer with some white head leaving lacing. Aroma has diacetyl, grain and honey with slight hay and some alcohol. Flavor has honey, alcohol and slight herbs. Palate is quite full with quite heavy carbonation. Finish has quite strong bitterness and some alcohol heat. Aftertaste is honeyish sweet with dry hay. Gets quite harsh towards the end of the glass. Quite heavy German style lager.
