Dośc niespotykana mocna zawartość alkocholu w tym stylu. Alkochol dominuje zarówno w smaku jak i zapachu. Od Niemieckich dortmundzkich piw sporo go różni. Orzeźwiające, mało trwała piana choć puszysta podczas nalewania

UPDATED: OCT 18, 2010 Golden brown pour, large white head. Aroma of pilsener malt, grains and some hops. Flavour is mildly bitter of hops with some malty sweetness, a bit like a hefe.

UPDATED: JUL 26, 2012 Tap at Bonte Koe: Clear golden coloured brew with an too sweet taste. First time i see an Alfa beer from tap, i like the Pilsener more.

0.33 l bottle as "Alfa Limburgs Super Dort" from Firma Bier, best before June 2016. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminshing, white head. Sweetish-malty aroma with grassy notes of grains, hay and a bit of butter. Sweetish-malty, slightly grassy taste of caramel, grains and hay, followed by a short, light grassy-hoppy finish. Thin to medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite sweet and not very exciting, but still round and quite quaffable. Nothing wrong with it.

Bottle. Light golden, small to average and fully diminish head. Moderate malty - lightly grainy and sweetish aroma, some caramel and light bread. Body is medium, malty and sweetish aroma, caramel and light bread, light fruitiness - notes of honey. Finish is short to average, malty and sweetish, some caramel and light bread, faint hoppyness and light alcohol. Caramel sweetish "helles". Way too sweet for me. Reminds me of those East-European booze-lagers.

30cl bottle at home. Clear golden with a medium white head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Quite some bitterness combined with medium sweetness. Malts, grass and hops. A nice "German" brew.

The taste is alcoholic-sweet, a bit alcoholic-bitter, malty a bit sugary. Not my beer. 7/2/1/2/8/3

Form the bottle into a tall boy glass. Bright, sparkling, honey gold with tight, fine carbonation sustaining a tight, well formed, dense head of cream that laced well. Appearance, lovely! Slightly leftfield ’eggy’ nose lasted a few minutes before subsiding to reveal some sweet candi and fresh toasted grains. Simple. It is grainy, sweet and spicy in the mouth filling all corners but lacking in the middle.Soft on the tongue with a faintly fruity, bitter and spicy hop swallow that is void of the ABV. Residually sweet, it holds some mango and peach juices in the mouth long between swallows. Nothing disagreeable here, all neat and tidy, smooth and quenching. Not too bad a drop. Just needs more essence in the core!!! (30cL, BBE 12/06, Int’l Beer Shop, W. Leederville)
