Bottle (50cl) in Rhodes, Greece. Clear golden yellow colour, small white head. Aroma of grain, light malt and hops, quite well-balanced. A bit flat mouthfeel. Slightly bitter aftertaste. OK as holiday refreshment.

Grovlam (4252) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 28, 2010
Alfa Beer. Bottle 50 cl. Large thick creamy off-white head that mostly lasted. Clear yellow color. Aroma of mild bitter hop, cardboard, hint of grass. Over the palate came mild malty feel, with again cardboard and mild bitter hops. Light bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Light bitter and sweet flaver. Light dry bitter finish. 5/4/5/2/10 = 2.6

Lubiere (13995) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 25, 2010
A pale straw lager with a thick lacing white head. A rather chalky corn adjunct aroma, with light boiled vegetables. In mouth, an unpleasant chalky lager with loads of solvent notes, off flavours, some metallic hops, not very good. Bought at Bishop’s Cellar, Oct. 2009.

Very standard pale ale. Lots of taste of corn and not much else. Very comparable to other American pales like rolling rock. *I see it is made by heineken which makes sense because this is what i thought it tasted like but was trying to relate it to American Pales...is heineken considered american these days?

Bottle. Sour barley malt aroma. Pale yellow color with small head. Sweet-sour barley malt flavor with light hops finish. Average pale lager.

Pours pale gold with a 1 finger creamy white head that has good retention. Aroma is corn, grass, toasted cereal grain, skunk and some sweet straw. Flavor is very watery... an overtone of mineral water and metal over the whole thing with some corn, cereal grain, grass and skunk coming and going as they please. Palate is light bodied with an alkaline dryness throughout and a light carbonation. Not the worst pale lager in the world, but definitely not worth it.

I knew what this piss was gonna taste like before I even opened the bottle. Corn, malt and stank. Just plain awful.

11.2 Fl. oz. Bottle. Pours a clear goldenish body with some small sediment floaties and a thing fizzy white head. Aroma is grassy, grainy, a bit skunked overall weak, almost like a even weaker Heineken. Flavor is much of the same with some decent malty notes and light sweetness. Thin bodied. Not horrible actually.
