UPDATED: JUL 21, 2017 Nice lager when it is 35 degrees in Greece. I won’t remember it when I get home, but better than other Greek lager.

Vakantiepilsje in Griekenland. Ik ga daar altijd toch meer voor de Mythos. Van tap na een lange wandeling altijd wel lekker natuurlijk.

Larnaca 14/7 2017. 50 cl can from Theodorou Food Center. True to the name a very big red "A" on the can together with some beer making equipment and ingredients. Pours clear yellow with lively carbonation and big bubbly white head. Settles as very thin layer of fluffy foam. Aroma is quite metallic. Sweet malts and some sharp sour notes. Not particularly pleasant. Soft carbonation and watery palate. Flavor is not very strong. Light sweetness followed by medium bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter. Taste better than it smells - but saying it is a "Alpha" beer is taking it way too far. I would place it around "Gamma".

Lys brun klar med fingerhøyt hvitt skum. Metallisk og maltig lukt. Lett. Søtlig smak, maltekstrakt, karamell og noe metallisk. Kort.

I think people are really underestimating this beer. Alpha isn’t meant to be tasted like a fine wine it’s meant to be drunk. It’s a very easy beer to drink it’s light and has a reasonably clean aftertaste. The beer is great as a refreshment on the beach because it’s not heavy it’s easy to drink a couple jugs of the stuff and go for a swim after.

Sample during the "Hoppin’ On Deck 2" tasting on 06/04/2017. Clear pale golden color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to a film. Spotty lacing. Aroma of malt, grassy hop and fruit. Light-bodied with flavors of mild hops, corn and doughy malt. The finish is slightly metallic and hoppy. Below average overall.

Little bit of a skunky smell, very very light watery taste...not bad just almost nothing...smooth but still the aftertaste is a little off/weird ... Basic...no carb...

Barwa jasno złocista, piwo klarowne. Piana obfita, drobna i średnia, średnio trwała, ładnie oblepia szkło. Aromat dosyć czysty, słodowy, typowo lagerowy. W smaku subtelna słodycz, nuta słodowa, przez to pełniejsze w odczuciu. Dosyć mocno wysycone, minimalna goryczka, pijalne. Niezłe codzienne piwo.
