WakeandBake (549) - Greenville, Michigan, USA - JUL 5, 2009
Bottle. A clear dark golden color pour with a two finger head, medium carbonation. Aroma of corn husks, garss and honey. Flavor is lightly bitter, slightly floral, with a light sweetness, hints of butter and old fruit, light to medium body with a thin, slightly sticky mouthfeel, odd sweet grassy finish. Drinkable but nothing I would buy again. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - JUL 1, 2009
Bottle, at Allen Street Hardware. Golden pour, sweet malt & fruity aroma. Taste is sweeter malts, some fruityness. Really didnt think it was that bad Pailhead (6543) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - JUN 10, 2009
Bottle: The aroma is a strange combination of sweet grain, straw, metal, and maybe even a hint of strawberry. It pours a transparent gold with a small white head that quickly fades to a ring around the edges of the glass. The flavor starts lightly sweet with some grainy notes in the background. The sweetness builds into the finish with some light grassiness. It certainly tastes better than it smells, but that’s not much of a compliment. Light bodied with somewhat fizzy carbonation. daknole (11402) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - MAY 17, 2009
Bottle from Zekes. Yellow pour, light head. Shocker a sorry lager. Wow. Who would have guessed? Grainy, corn, malt and not much else. Flavor is quite bland. Corn and malty. Bleh. roder60 (1289) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 18, 2009
Pours clear yellow with some fizzy whiteness that quickly dissapears. Aroma a tad bit sweet and a tad bit grassy. Flavor is typical watery sweet malts and corniness though there is definitely something else, almost chemical tasting in there. Not bad, but probably wouldn’t buy again due to the extra off taste.

33cl bottle. Clear golden pour, bleached white foamy head, decent lace. buttery, white oak aroma. Plain, pale lager flavor. Sweet malt, very insignificant presance of medicinal hop flavoring. Not a great lager, better than some others. When in Spain, I guess? FunkyBrewster (1518) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 18, 2008
Pours a light straw golden color with a small white head. Malty and crispy with a some buttery notes. Tiny hint of hops and fruitiness. Mildly fruity start with a strong malt backbone. Crispy and slightly tart before a bitter but smooth finish. Light to medium body and moderate carbonation. Better than other light lagers and much smoother but still bland and bodiless. jezmez68 (404) - Chesterton, Indiana, USA - AUG 9, 2008
Another pale lager to add to my list. Served in a bottle at Don Quijote’s restaurant in Valparaiso. Straw colored, had sort of a sweetness to it that made it unique. It is what it is. LooseCannon (938) - Norfolk, Virginia, USA - JUN 30, 2008
330ml bottle. Labeled as Alhambra Premium Lager. Pours clear golden in color with thin white head. Aroma and taste of malt and grain with clean finish. Drinkable Pale Lager, nothing to write home about. FarFromHome (85) - Philadelphia, Alabama, USA - JUN 20, 2008
Bought in Casablanca, Morocco, under the name of "Alhambra Premium Lager". This implies that I have forgotten, or somehow misunderstood, what the word "premium" means. Looks all right, tastes of water and vaguely metallic. Utterly forgettable, but at least it avoids the defects of other beers I’ve had in Morocco.
