Nothing outstanding, however, I loved this beer, not sure if it was because I enjoyed it on a hot day as my first beer out of the United States or if it’s really as fantastic as I remember. It’s nice and smooth, and goes down easy.

Maybe my bottle was relatively new, but I thought this was a pretty decent lager from start to finish. A little funkyness in the aroma, apples. Still, a nice hoppiness and one that I found worth trying.

Just when you think you’ve found a Pale Lager that will be different from the rest, you get let down. As far as pale lagers go this one is suitable but not distinct

Tap @ Henners, Corralejo.

Pours clear golden with a small, frothy, white head. Good lacing. Aroma is sweet, light crispy, mild citric and grassy. Medium carbonation, light but with good dryness. Flavour has mild crispy malts, light vanilla, a bit of brewing cereal and mild grassy hops. Fine lager.

Six pack from King Richard’s liquors, Michigan City, Indiana. Darkish yellow pour from a 12 oz bottle. Thin white head. Aroma of light malts, caramel, promising hoppiness. Slightly sweet maltiness at the start with a good bit of hops in the finish. Pilsner-esq astringent hoppy end. Light bodied and rather thin palate. Not bad at all.

Bottle. Pours a golden yellow color with thin foamy white head, with some lacing in the glass. Aroma was mostly malts, grain and cereal in the nose, a hint of hop and grasses. Flavor was where I was surprised. Very strong hop flavor, which I did not expect from the aroma. Still mostly malts of a cereal and sweet note. A clean, balanced finish. Very balanced overall. I was not expecting this beer to perform as well as it did. I would get this again.

Had this one bottled in Valparaiso, Indiana. Light golden color with a bubbly, white head. Clean grassy malts and a bit of flowery hops in the nose, effervescent, with sweet maltiness and some leafy hops in the background. Clean finish. Not bad for a pale lager.
