DWG; Bottle 0,33 L. Pours almost black with a large, lasting, frothy to creamy, lacing and tan head. Nose is heavy roasted malt and coffee, chocolate, vanilla and dark, dried, ripe fruits. Taste is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a lasting, warming, coffee and chocolate finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily to creamy, carbonation is soft. "Rich yet balanced", indeed. aleksander9 (1870) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 23, 2014
Black with creamy tan head. Aroma is dark roasted coffee, dark fruits, leather, tobacco and some floral notes. Rich and creamy palate. Aftertaste is dry, espresso, dark fruits, dark chocolate and a very rich dark ending. Overall: Truly a black beer. Excellent. cnesmark (46) - NORWAY - SEP 8, 2014
Smooth drinking. A bit too burnt for my taste. Lots of taste, especially coffee. Feels thin in aftertaste, only bitter and burnt remains.The_Osprey (8682) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 3, 2014

Keg at Draft House. Lervig branding. Black with a big foamy tan head. Aroma is smoke, coffee, light hoppy pine. Good balance here. Body is medium, smooth, low carbonation. Taste is light chocolate and coffee, smokey sweetness. Smooth as you like. Very nice, really drinkable. ERB92 (772) - Bergen, NORWAY - AUG 30, 2014
Coffee, milk chocolate, ash, licorice and roasted malts in the aroma. Black with a brown head. Medium sweet and medium bitter. Full body with a soft carbonation. Overall a well balanced, rich flavoured Imperial Porter, but the ash note is not something i am a fan of unfortunately.
