COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Wheat Pale Ale

Small beer, big stink. We wanted to produce a session beer that is extremely hop forward, relatively low alcohol, and very little lingering hop bitterness. We procured the most delicate, most thirst quenching malts to produce a very light, delicate, and refreshing beer. Featuring a crazy amount of hops with over a pound and a quarter in every keg.

Hops Used – Columbus & Cascade
Malts Used – Pilsen, Wheat, Cara Vienne, Aromatic

Nice session beer. Dry hopped for a great cascade smell. The hops don’t linger after the finish but that only makes you want more. Best beer on tap during my visit to the brewery.

Improvement in other IPA selections. Wheat taste evident and adds creaminess to hop finish.

On tap at the Bocktown. A slightly darker beer but still yellow. Smell is hoppy perfume. Look is nice and clear, no haze what so ever. First taste is hoppy mild IPA, yes, borders on IPA. Decent amount of co2 makes it palatable. IPA thing is overwhelming, must be an ipa. Long bitter lingering finish. Not sure how this could be an APA.

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2013 Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a medium amber color with a small soapy white head that faded quickly. The aroma was dryish with a strong floral hop presence. The flavor was very dry with a strong floral and herbal hops with just a hint of malt underneath. Long dry, bitter and floral finish. Light to medium body. Very aggressive for a session beer but so one dimensional that finishing a pint could get a bit difficult.

Very little aroma. Amber color. Slight hoppy taste. Decent beer. Nothing special.
