We tried to get creative with this one – well only the name. The beer is a traditional Oktoberfest recipe but we wanted a non-traditional name. However, our crack market research group helped us to understand that beer people want an “Oktoberfest” beer. Hence the name.

On tap at All Saints. Pours a light weightless head that disappears like an autumn breeze. Color shakes from gold to amber like the changing fall leaves. A buoyant taste rustles crisp then malty. Throw a quilt down on the hill, sip this beer, and feel the autumn settling. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Crisp bite with very little left on the palate. Almost like a light yuengling. It's pretty thirst quenching though. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This poured an amber to red color with a white head. Aroma was caramel, grass and light metal. Flavor was nutty, malty, toast and grassy hops, Decent Oktoberfest.

Malty sweet flavor and aroma. Brown sugar and caramel. Nice complete flavor profile. Body is a little light and relies more on sweet after taste, maybe a little too sweet

Very good, smooth not-in-your face Oktoberfest. Reminds you of a perfect Pennsylvania autumn day. I'm not a Dan of Oktoberfests, but this one is high on my list. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught @ Brewery: This one pours a crystal clear lighter coppery color. There was a very small off white head on it that left a little lacing. The aroma is lighter but nice. Caramel malts, perhaps some toffee and fruits. The taste is along the same lines. Caramel malts, toffee and a hint of fruits. Medium bodied and very smooth. Very easy to drink.

Tastes like your typical Oktoberfest beer. I never really understood the hype. Not a bad beer though.

FROTHINGSLOSH (7796) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 16, 2012
Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a dark copper color with a small foamy tan head that faded quickly and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet toasted caramel, toffee and a faint hints of tobacco and golden fruits. The flavor was sweet toffee, nut, tobacco, burnt malts and a touch of sour fruits. Medium length finish of burnt malts, toffee and tobacco. Mod full bodied and smooth. Solid.
