Nicely done as expected. Allagash creates some really great brews and according to the rep there, was from a second running. Average head and retention. Grapefruit and floral/pine flavors. Grapefruit came in on the second taste. Nicely done.
"fairly light on the hops, but the nose is still floral and fruity, with a spiciness as well from the yeast. flavor much the same. a little too light to be elite, but it was nice. dry and refreshing." vtafro (7444) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - AUG 10, 2014
(Backlog) Draft at allagash event at barcade jersey city. Golden pour with white head. Spiced aroma, some belgian tones. Flavors of spice, grass and yeast tones. RoyalFlushing (326) - Mamaroneck, New York, USA - AUG 11, 2012
On tap @ Stag’s Head. Poured a cloudy straw yellow with golden hues, a medium white head, and notable lacing. Aroma of Belgian yeast, toast, lemon zest, and clove. Taste includes slight yeast funk, banana, citrus, and malt flavors. Enjoyable mouthfeel, active carbonation, and crisp finish. dmac (6457) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - MAY 1, 2012
Draft at Maloney’s sampled in a flight during the Allagash dinner. Poured a slight chill hazed gold body with a light fluffy bright white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, dry grainy bread, lemons, grapefruit and dry tropical fruits. fuller bodied with lively carbonation. Flavor is the same as the aroma with some big yeast notes and citrus and tropical fruits along with grainy bread. Solid beer and a nice way to start the night. oobawa (1733) - Tennessee, USA - APR 28, 2012
Decent Belgian Pale, bitter and citric, with a clean, hoppy finish. Too bad it was brewed in collaboration with the Alstroms. Gives the brew an asshole-ish aftertaste.

A - Served a hazy golden-yellow color with a finger of frothy white head. The head fades down fairly slowly leaving behind some good lace.
S - Aroma is a mix of light wheat with some sweetness, citrus, and grass. There is some Belgian yeast as well and a touch of funk.
T - Starts off with some sweet grains with some lemon and citrus and some light yeast. Through the middle some funk comes through with some more grain and lemon, as well as some gassy hop flavor. The finish is a mix of bigger yeast characters with some funk and lemon.
M - Medium-light bodied with moderate-plus carbonation. Feels smooth with a very crisp and dry finish.
D - Very drinkable. Nicely balance Belgian session ale with some light hop and Belgian yeast flavors. MadRobin (2988) - Silver Spring, Maryland, USA - APR 14, 2012

Sampled at Brewvival 2012. Clear light yellow pour with big white head. Big citrus and noble hop nose. Lemongrassy and green pine flavor, a little slight funkiness which I guess comes from the trappist yeast they used. Pretty good for what it was. Drake (14078) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 25, 2012
Draft at Brewvival 2012. Pours a hazy lemon color with a medium creamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of grain, caramel and grass. The taste is grain, grass, hops, stone fruits and caramel. Medium bodied.
