On Draft at Ballydoyle Bloomingdale. This beer is great, they bill it is a belgian style stout, not sure if that is what i would call it. Dark black in color, yet very clear. It drinks a lot lighter than i was expecting. Nice head out of the draft and into an allagash glass. I get some of the chocolate and roasted notes, very hard to describe, but it is the best beer i have had this year so far for sure. BorksBabe (85) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - MAR 8, 2008
Aroma is of malt and slight hops. A little mollasses and oats. Full and silky on the plate, the flavor is reminiscent of coffee with yeast. I love it! Cybercat (5838) - Georgia, USA - OCT 25, 2008
Comes out of the tap a deep opaque sable with a fairly thick tan head - very appetizing. Aroma is like well-roasted mocha and has just a hint of caramel. Flavor is rich and ’stouty’ - smoky with strong coffee and unsweetened chocolate components - and has just a touch of sweetness. Finish is smooth and very pleasing. A winner! Black dark black pour with tan head. Smell of dark roast and some Belgian beer type spices. Flavor if dark roast with a Belgian yeast finish. leah2974 (453) - Georgia, USA - JAN 29, 2012
Sweet, milky, chocolatey. Smooth. Wheat undertones. Not too heavy, but velvety.

caramel, bread, chocolate, nuts, toast, roasty, amber, red, brown, black, medium sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour, umami, full body, creamy, thick feel, lively.
A stout that comes as close to perfect as you can get. The only thing stopping it is that it just doesn’t quite have the mouthfeel that a dark brew should, as if they held back giving it that motor oil feel. Do not be fooled though. This beer is top notch. Pair this with a good brat on a cold day. ordybill (1759) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - SEP 15, 2014

Bottle thanks to Matt. Deep dark black in color with a off white head. Sweet candi sugar and roasty aroma. Roasty coffee malty flavor. Caramel candi sugar and chocolatety notes. Full bodied. Sweet tasting. Very carbonated. Finish is roasty. Very drinkable. Wow. GreatLibations (1854) - Last Supper, Arizona, USA - JUN 26, 2008
Pours dark w/ a full lasting head and superb lacing. Aromas of cocoa and dark fruit. Medium nectar w/ creamy, expansive residual effers. Beautifully balanced flavors of cocoa and darkfruit intermingle w/ a moderate roast component. A striking hop profile bitters this to a classic level. The finish lingers. One awesome brew! nathan30533 (1020) - Clifton, Ohio, USA - FEB 16, 2011
