Draft at Jerry’s. Yellow with big, creamy, white head / Elegant nose of malolactic fermentation, honey, resin, and candied citrus / Medium body, creamy with soft carbonation, moderately sweet and resinous, with good hop balance and long finish / Perfumey flavors of honey, violets, passion fruit, pear, oak, and bubblegum / Just great. egajdzis (6589) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 18, 2010
[BBD 10] Hazy golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of vanilla, toasted malts, some toffee, spices, and lighter citrus. Taste of some citrus fruits, light apple, vanilla, toffee malts, spices, a bit of alcohol with a dry finish. Leighton (21298) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 14, 2010
Tap at Mugs. Pours a hazy, light yellow with a soft, pure white head. Aroma holds some lovely doughy bread notes, augmented by light lemon and spice notes. Flavor is reasonably sweet, with doughy malts, lemon, bubblegum and yeast. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Finishes with fruity zest and dough malts, along with a modest dryness. Delicious. TomDecapolis (4618) - Milton, Delaware, USA - SEP 2, 2010

Tap at Barcade. Pours a nice hazed golden blonde with a nice lasting sticky white head. Aroma has a slight DMS if warmed enough, but mostly nice fruity ester with lots of lemon hint, doughy malts, yeasty, light bready notes, almost pilsner malt like with some slight clove and bubblegum with grassy hops. Flavor is zesty lemon peel, mineral, grass, big doughy yeasty note, fresh bready malt, light grass, lemon-lime, mineral light earth and very dry- incredibly drinkable for 8.2% When i first had this at BBD I thought it was 5%? Very nice!

Draft at Commercial TapHouse. Quite pleased to get to try this. Hazy blonde, nice head, quite attractive on a hot summer day. Aroma was lighlty wheaty with a spicy yeast note. Flavor was a match, with a really good spice backbone over the malt flavors. Faint undefined fruit as well. Finished dry. Really refreshing, never would have pegged this at 8.2%. Really a very good beer. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - SEP 11, 2011
Hazy yellow with a creamy white head. Sweet Belgian yeast and fruit esters to the aroma. Tastes of malt apple pear and light banana. Quite good. Nice creamy palate. pineypower (3330) - Ocean County, New Jersey, USA - AUG 12, 2012
Growler from Spirits Bayville at James’ B-Day party. Pours out a well carbonated, clear golden color with a nice white head. Aroma is of pear, fruity yeast, light spice and a touch of apple and mild bitterness. Taste is smooth, clean and waaayyy too easy drinking to be 8.2%. Notes of light spice, apple, grain, fruity yeast, and a light bitterness on the finish. Tasty. johnnnniee (4312) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - AUG 26, 2012

Pours a fairly clear straw yellow color with a smallish white head that shows some stickage. Smells grainy and bready with a bit of sweet honey light pomme fruits and an earthy funky yeast edge. The flavor is light fruity and refreshing. Lots of bready and sweet honey like malts with light sweet fruits and an earthy peppery yeasty flavor. Medium to light body with a crisp bubbly mouthfeel. Great easy drinking light fruity Belgian brew. joshtchan (9) - USA - SEP 1, 2014 does not count
It’s an all-around good beer. I couldn’t find any complaints with this one. Perfect for BBQ’s, friend gatherings, and company networking events. Light, great aroma, and manageable alcohol percentage.
