Tap. Pours a light golden color with fine white heading that dissipates to the edges. The sweet grains are hardly noticeable behind a heavy dose of funk and yogurty flavors. Nose is bretty, cheesy, oaky, and a touch of whiskey barrel. Medium carbonation and medium to thin body. Reminds me a lot of Allagash’s Resurgam with heavier lactic and barrel presence. And since it’s been over 6 months since my last rating this one is dedicated to deyholla! A2brewcrew<3

Sitting back, I now see how the boiled cabbage, acid malt, red wheat, sunflower seeds, gueuze dregs, aged hops, and dried lavender had taken over my obsessions. Everything is in its right place.
Finishes supremely sourdoughy with a hint of barnyard funk, mint, apricot fruit leather, and oak leaves.
2015, a real winning year for this particular Allagash sour.
Refrigerated 12.7 oz. brown bottle at the Sovern poured into a snifter. Clear golden with small white head. Aroma is nice tart citrus, medium body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is nice tart citrus, oak, and tropical fruit. World class sour. DSG (15301) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - FEB 22, 2017
[2/5/17] Bottle at Amit’s place in Poughkeepsie. Thanks Amit. Clear golden with a white head. Lots of oak, funk, herbal, fruitiness, a bit of vinegar, sour, a bit of sweetness in the back, medium-bodied. djd07 (15663) - Houston, Texas, USA - DEC 31, 2016
Bottle at WTF 4. Pours a cloudy orange with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is strong oak, funk, sour fruit. Medium body, oak, juicy fruit, nice tartness, light funk, very nice. neepsntatties (2069) - Portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 17, 2016

Palate...crisp, tangy and bright with zippy yeast notes and loads of fruit. The mid palate is quite sweet and the finish is very long.
Ours clear yellow color with no head. Horse blanket, fall leaves, lemon meringue. Viscous mouthfeel low carbonation medium sourness. Dry finish. ljthiessen (1484) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - NOV 15, 2016
Bottle. Cloudy pale yellow pour with a white head. Aroma is citrus zest, fresh and fruity, quite nice. Taste is much the same - quite nice. Sammy (12846) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 18, 2016
Good wild ale, well made though not the best I’ve had even from Allagash. A bit of ageing I think helped. Lots of complexity. RobertDale (6913) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - SEP 30, 2016
375 ml. shared bottle. Pours a hazy pale gold with a decent white head. Aroma of fruit, funk, and wood. Taste is lemon, funk, oak, and grain. Excellent. HonusWagner (2232) - Florida, USA - SEP 1, 2016
A really great complex sour ale with a gueuzelike character though lacking any funk. Also a nice little sweetness.
