75 cL bottle, thanks to Storm. Pours hasy brown with a lacing white head. Spiced caramel malt aroma. Flavour is roasted malt, light hoppy bitter with a subdued fruit note. Mellow yeasty note. Ends lingering spice finish. Nice. Ungstrup (38243) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - NOV 3, 2006
A hazy deep red beer with a thick light orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also a light dusy straw note of hops. The flavor is sweet malty again with caramel being strongest, combined with a boring note of spices and brown sugar, as well as a light note of smoke. The end is dry with a light note of wood. joergen (28964) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 31, 2007

Bottle. Hazy medium brown color, large thick beige head, good retention, solid lacing. Aroma of milk chocolate hits you from across the room. Close up there’s a bit of coffee as well. Taste is spiced pumpernickel and brown bread. Decent.

Bottled. Mahogany colour. Sweet and nutty, some caramel. The mouthfeel is clean and straightforward, flavours are relatively restrained. Short grassy finish.madmitch76 (25344) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 19, 2010

Burgundy. Dry, medium bodied, bitter. Yeasty, but not complex enough for the style.
28th October 2008. Hazy brown beer with a thick creamy head. A little sourness rapidly followed by a dry spicyness which the creamy head offsets well. A little sour malt in the finish which is a bit too dry. Not bad but something is missing. Papsoe (25059) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 18, 2007
(Bottle 75 cl) Hazy, brownish with a beige head leaving some laces. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, dried fruit and some yeast. Medium body, lightly sweetish roasted malt. Fruity - also some dried fruit notes and a whiff of yeast and diacetyl. Slightly earthy tang but not enough to spoil the pleasure. 180607 Leighton (22036) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 18, 2009
Solid dubbel here. Had on tap at Blind Tiger. Poured a hazy, dark amber with a medium head. Highly malty aroma with some wild, yeasty odors. Flavor of sweet malts and some bread. Clean, crisp finish. fiulijn (21022) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 25, 2007
Corked bottle; batch #55
Hazy dark brown color. The aroma is a bit nutty and corky. The flavor has a quite good mix of caramel with some malt and roasted malt, stronger character than the average Belgian Dubbel; the yeast as well seems to be Belgian. Quite Belgian, quite good.
