Tap, hazy reddish brown with a medium to larger head. Nose and flavor were wood, dark fruit, bread, dates, and chocolate. Another one that a bit acidic in the finish. Medium bodied with a spice forward close. drfabulous (8467) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - OCT 14, 2017
500 ml bottle shared by Will. Nice looking red brown pour with some vinegar and tartness but balanced. MartinT (10037) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 12, 2017
My Bottom Line:SudsMcDuff (8468) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - AUG 29, 2017
Sour cherry fruitiness brings tartness to this otherwise earthy brew full of mushroom flavors and dusty impressions.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam covers the hazy mahogany.
-The nose is rather stale.
-A certain vinosity is present too.
-Mineral angles are found as well.
-This was disappointing for the price. A rare thing from this lovely brewery.
Corked small bottle, at finneyz. .. Ruby .. Wine, barrel, tart cork reds, dryness .. . Quite nice, quality! .. All fun, all run, why two koreas anyway? j12601 (13027) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - AUG 19, 2017

375ml bottle from Wine & Cheese, If You Please in Hilton Head, SC. Slightly hazy but deep mahogany-chestnut color with a large, lasting light beige head. The aroma is nice and complex, very vinous, with oak, earth, leather, vinegar, prune, black currants, lactic notes. The flavor is medium-tart with a hint of sweetness, somewhat tannic, lots of red wine and dark fruits. Medium-bodied with a rich feel and active carbonation. As usual from the ’gash, this is well done. keepersj12 (3136) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - JUL 4, 2017
I don't like the aroma. It's kinda like medicine. The flavor is sour with the wine. Weird but enjoyable

Really nice sour brown. Cola reddish color with off white fading head. Aroma is raisins, cherries, vinous, oak, and vanilla. Taste is tart a touch sweet and mild tannic woodiness. swesson (469) - Highlands Ranch, Colorado, USA - MAY 9, 2017
From a bottle. Pours a ruddy-brown and makes a beige head. Aroma is of yeasty, bready, and has a cognac smell. Taste is of tart cherries, raisins, and a bit of spice. Wonderful sour.

Bottle at home. Pours clear rich tawny with a medium, frothy tight-bubbled beige head, medium retention and mostly forming a cordon. Aroma is medium toast malt, lightly sweet chocolate notes, acidic Lacto and Pedio, light leathery stone fruits (cherries, peaches) with spicy alcohol late. Flavor is medium toast, creamy oat and earthy wheat malt, vinous and lightly tannic notes mingle with the cherries and peaches, nearly balanced acidity from Lacto and Pedio with earthy notes and red/purple berries with a dry finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation with some carbonic bite and a light alcohol warmth.
