Sour cherry fruitiness brings tartness to this otherwise earthy brew full of mushroom flavors and dusty impressions.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam covers the hazy mahogany.
-The nose is rather stale.
-A certain vinosity is present too.
-Mineral angles are found as well.
-This was disappointing for the price. A rare thing from this lovely brewery.
Corked small bottle, at finneyz. .. Ruby .. Wine, barrel, tart cork reds, dryness .. . Quite nice, quality! .. All fun, all run, why two koreas anyway?

375ml bottle from Wine & Cheese, If You Please in Hilton Head, SC. Slightly hazy but deep mahogany-chestnut color with a large, lasting light beige head. The aroma is nice and complex, very vinous, with oak, earth, leather, vinegar, prune, black currants, lactic notes. The flavor is medium-tart with a hint of sweetness, somewhat tannic, lots of red wine and dark fruits. Medium-bodied with a rich feel and active carbonation. I don't like the aroma. It's kinda like medicine. The flavor is sour with the wine. Weird but enjoyable

From a bottle. Pours a ruddy-brown and makes a beige head. Aroma is of yeasty, bready, and has a cognac smell. Taste is of tart cherries, raisins, and a bit of spice. Wonderful sour.
