Nice fruity aroma with some candy, bread, and Belgian hops. Taste was fruity, lightly bitter, and somewhat sour. More of a sour ale than anything else. Typically not my cup of tea, but this was a fine beer and obviously really well made.
bottle shared by richard, many thanks man! pours unclear light golden with a small but creamy white head offering some retention and lacing. very fruity and complex maltiness, golden honey, smooth cognac/brandy oak barrels, light acidity - fresh zesty lemons; bitter herbs. moderate carbonation, light to medium body - oily; very lightly tart woodsy-spicy finish. very solid wild brandy-aged strong belgian ale. sinfull (1847) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - OCT 14, 2017

Pours a golden amber with a soft foam head that laces my glass. The aroma is of subtle brett, yeasty, mild brandy booze, grassy and spicy hops, lemon, pineapple, dough bread, and oak notes. Taste is of a pleasant sweet yet spiced brandy, honey, there is a good yeast flavor, bread malts, good acidity, lemon, some blood orange, white grapes, weak peach, soft funk, mild tartness, and a good sour taste. The finish is enjoyable with a soft dryness and the blending of flavors that were listed. The mouthfeel is good and has a medium champagne like carbonation. Overall a very interesting and drinkable beverage. Butters (4062) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - APR 9, 2017
Hazy Yellow pour with not as much head as expected. Sweet peachy nose but with a horse funk and tart flavor. Quite good sour.

375mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Nose brings out brandy barrels upfront, followed by pears, candied sugar and toasted caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, with candied sugar, brandied pears, tart stone fruits and toasted bready notes. Light brett funk in the back. Complex but not hugely enjoyable. Good stuff. Light golden color with a nice flow of bubbles to sustain a smaller off-white head. Good snappy bubbles. Light pale malt, with some mild floral hops, brett, oak, grape peels, and brandied light fruit. Mildly sweet start, and fairly sweet throughout. Soft bubbly feel. Slightly acetic with some grape peels. The brandy gives a strong presence and adds a light port to chardonnay flavor. Fairly dry in the finish. Wish it was a little less sweet, but I realize that’s the brandy at play. Really nice effort.
