Golden Brett is a dark golden colored beer, brewed with Victory, 2-Row and Red Wheat malt. It was lightly hopped with a blend of Northern Brewer and Simcoe hops. The beer started it’s primary fermentation in a stainless tank and finished fermentation in a 800 gallon oak foudre. The finished beer has fruity nose and flavors of citrus, apricot and bread crust. The mild tartness of the beer gives way to a long, clean finish.

Bottle - Sweet pineapple and candy funky notes. Cloudy bright gold with a rich white head. Very effervescent, candy citrus sweetness, pineapple and a light yeast finish.

Hazy, has a light tan colour with a thin head. Dusty and a bit phenolic, and then there’s some brett on the nose as well. There is a lot of brett, with some nice sweet sugars here, like Rockets (which I think are called something else in the States). Nice beer, I guess I’d actually like more sugar and more brett development.

Tasting at Matt’s; corked; 7.7% ABV
Cloudy blond color. The aroma is very interesting, there are stone fruits (peach, apricot), cheesy yeast, foot, a bit vinous. Highly carbonated, it has a very good fruity flavor, white grapes and peach, with a nice acidity level, and funky character.
Complex, very good.

375mL bottle, pours a cloudy peachy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of stone peachy fruits and medium funky brett. Flavour is very fruity, with loads of peaches, apricots and other such stone fruits, pineapple followed by a substantial brett backbone. Very complex, with a lovely mix of stone fruits and funky brett. Excellent.

July 2015 bottle. Pours a cloudy orange colour with a thick white head. Smells very bretty, with pineapple and horseblanket notes. Super tropical tart fruit taste. Really rich and enjoyable.

Pours a hazed gold, strong, resilient off-white head. Aroma of oak, apple, brett. More brett on the tongue but with white grape and some fun spiciness. Very dry thanks to brett....bueno.

Poured from a bottle. Murky golden color, medium to full white head. Sour fruit aroma. Medium body with a nice sweet and tart flavor and a nice finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

An aroma of bretinomyces and honey. Cloudy golden color with a white well laced head. A great taste of honey with a slightly tart taste with hints of fruit. Lighter body with a tart fruit finish.

Refrigerated 12.7 brown bottle corked and capped, bottled on July 2015 poured into a tulip. Clear golden with big fluffy white head. Aroma is funky Brett, medium/light body, well carbonated, and pretty good lacing. Taste is funky Brett with dry finish. I prefer sour over funky, this is a good funky beer.

Level 42 bottleshare. Thanks to Scopey. Hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, mildly dry and has decent carbonation. Soft malts. Light tangy funky savoury brett. Apple and tangerine fruits. Mild spice. Nicely joined up, mellow and drinkable.
