COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Allagash Grand Cru is deep golden in color, and has a firm yet refined malty palate. Taste and aroma have suggestions of smoke and licorice, with subtle hints of fruit and spice. An excellent beer to enjoy during the cooler seasons.

Not impressed. It's ok but not up to the ratings it is getting. Very fruity aroma usually a plus, but for some reason it just isn't here. Peaches and pears maybe. After taste is too dry, acidic, sour and bitter. I don't find it balanced.

750 ml bottle Spicy, heady nose with scents of lemon, jasmine, and orange. Flavor berry-sweet, complicated, smooth but gently frothing on the tongue. Exquisite red in rounded Delirium Tremens glass, with a thick, fine head that slips slowly down in a shimmering stream... Dreamy, if I may say so (and I think I may).

Red beer with a belgian froth to it. Had a few when tasting so my taste was a bit biased but very good. Fruit and belgian yeast on the nose. Clean and a bit heavy but very drinkable.

This is not the best offering from Allagash. it is still good however. Just not their best

It has a cloudy amber colour with a beautiful creamy head. Nice lace. Smells a bit like disinfectant. Quite fresh and fruity (grapefruit?), slightly sweet. Touch of bitterness in the finish.

Its no Allagash White! It makes Josh Hoppy. Prolly would be good with food, but just sampling in the bar it was a little heavy/strong for my liking. I dont know maybe I got a bad one seeing how so many others enjoyed!

bottle. hazy orange with off white head, minimal lacing. fruits, spice, candy with a sweet and sour flavor. Maybe a little thinner than I would have hoped for. Nice while watching the leaves change color. Enjoyable.

Deep golden color with a thick white head. Not really much in the nose, but you can detect some spice and definitely yeast. The cork added to the aroma, dont know if that was a positive? Dry in the mouth with notes of pear and spice. Better than expected

Hazy amber color with a thin head. Fruity aromas, orange, cherry, and lemon. Taste starts with a large malt that gives up its sweetness and fades back to the citrus tones. Full bodied.
