375 ml bottle poured into a brandy snifter. The beer is a darker brownie with a khaki head of foam. Good head retention. The aroma has honey, molasses, toffee, caramel, strawberry. Sweet berry notes with moderate roast and a tangy acidity. Pretty mild sourness to it. Some tootsie roll in the finish. Medium body and high carbonation. Definitely an interesting beer. Probably well made and we are big fans of Allagash but this beer was not quite tart and just sort of weird. Might just be too sophisticated for us

Blackish pour with a tan head that lasts. Aroma is brett, chocolate, caramel, somewhat fruity with citrus notes. Medium bodied, high acidity, moderate sourness, not a fan. jefcon (1935) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - OCT 25, 2017
Bottle. A dark, delicious sour. The rich honey brings some sweetness and light to the beer and really accentuates the oak and light brett. Mixture of light, fruit, honey with fig, plum, caramel.
