Sensation : Corps assez mince, carbonatation moyenne, légère chaleur d’alcool.

18 months in the foudre and 2 years in the bottle has this tasting pretty nice. Pours a small, beige, creamy head. Color is darker than I expected pouring like cola and settling even darker. Frothy wide arms of lace. Nose of dark chocolate, raspberry, fig, toffee and a faint roast. Tight bubbly carbonation and a light body. Sour, but on the dry side. Chocolate malt, raspberry notes, oaky, fig, plum and light caramel. Very interesting and not what I expected, but nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Deep dark brown with a two-finger tan head and nice lace. Aromas of bourbon, chocolate, dark fruit and tropical fruits. Flavor follows, as bittersweet chocolate allows for notes of bourbon to poke through. Tart fruitiness as well. Full body, minimal carbonation, creamy mouthfeel and a boozy finish.

375 ml bottle poured into a brandy snifter. The beer is a darker brownie with a khaki head of foam. Good head retention. The aroma has honey, molasses, toffee, caramel, strawberry. Sweet berry notes with moderate roast and a tangy acidity. Pretty mild sourness to it. Some tootsie roll in the finish. Medium body and high carbonation. Definitely an interesting beer.

Probably well made and we are big fans of Allagash but this beer was not quite tart and just sort of weird. Might just be too sophisticated for us ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Blackish pour with a tan head that lasts. Aroma is brett, chocolate, caramel, somewhat fruity with citrus notes. Medium bodied, high acidity, moderate sourness, not a fan.

Bottle. A dark, delicious sour. The rich honey brings some sweetness and light to the beer and really accentuates the oak and light brett. Mixture of light, fruit, honey with fig, plum, caramel.
