(Bottle 75 cl) Hazy, amber golden with an off-white head leaving some laces. Lightly tart and orangey aroma with a piquant touch of Brett. Medium body with lightly sweet and fruity notes and a discreet and enticing acidity. Quite refreshing. 011206 Leighton (22297) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 2, 2009
UPDATED: MAR 3, 2012 Tap at Rattle n Hum. Off the bat, I am not a huge fan of this beer. Just not my style. Pours a hazy orange with a soft, white head. Floral nose with hints of barnyard sourness. Flavor is tart and somewhat fruity. Mildly sour. Notes of wood and hard alcohol. Tingly mouthfeel with some puckering. Aftertaste is a little sour but still crisp and a bit refreshing. I try to be objective... Rasmus40 (21822) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - SEP 28, 2012
Bottle @ HenrikSoegaard tasting. Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity, bretty and red wine. Flavor is quite sweet, moderate bitter and light acidic. Dry, moderate bitter and light acidic finish. chriso (21656) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 24, 2007
Bottle at Kobenhavnske Oldage 2007. Pale amber colour. Very tart and acidic, almost in a Belgian Sour style. The wood comes through strongly as do the vinous notes. And, like Mes, I got some cider apple notes too. Also some spicy touches. Unusual but intriguing. But I like it. I think.

Hazy copper-amber color, shining; the foam is initially quite frothy, but reduces to a thin consistent layer. The aroma is immediately sour, some vinegar, sour apples, wood and a hint of wet cellar. Good mouthfeel, medium body strength, with dryish malt flavor, and a light woody acidity to make it more complex; there are even traces of ammonia. It has the right bitterness, and in the final there is a very light astringency too. Interesting.
Tap at Capones Annual Black Friday event, Norristown PA, 29/11/13.
Lightly hazed golden amber with a moderate off white covering that dissipates to edgework.
Nose is dark fruit, straw, lemon sherbet, bitter orange, brown sugar.
Taste comprises tangy apricot, pineapple, tarte orange rind, citric dipped straw, light caramel notes.
Medium bodied, fine carbonaion, dry closure with yeasty and bitter tropical notes in the finale.
Decent tarte Belgian affair with a little booze, the 9% is well integrated. saxo (19370) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - SEP 28, 2012

At GBBF 2009. Hazy brown gold, interesting rih sweet brown sugar aroma. That’s awful. Cereal, vinegar and way too strong.. Badly constructed with none of the elements harmonising. mcberko (18925) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 23, 2011
750mL bottle, split 3 ways, pours a semi-hazy red with a small white head. Aroma of red wine, candied sugar, bubblegum and yeast. Flavour of bubblegum, candied sugar, sour fruits, red wine and brett. Very nice array of flavours. Delicious. rlgk (18844) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUL 9, 2007
75 cl bottle. Hazy ambe/orange color, small white head. Sourish rubber aroma, oaky, fruity and a bit vinous. Malty flavor, a bit sourish and with rubber notes.
