On tap at my sick ass Allagash event. Jealous? Should be....
Pours a soft and clean light peach amber with two fingers of creamy eggshell white head. The nose is nice, soft fruits and cherry with a hint of acidity and very slight chalky/vitaminy character. Very very slight wild character. A very nice acidity in the flavor, mostly front of the mouth and it is quick to go. Bright cherry notes in the background, by no means dominant. Some light fruity esters provide support.

Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured a clear reddish brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy sour tart fruit aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy sour & sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet & sour finish of moderate to long duration. This is a solid beer. Very end bit of a 12.7oz bottle, thanks to Brad. Totally hazy dirty peach color, with all the sediment in there. No head or lace. Very nice tart cherry nose. Light nutty malts, good tart cherry flavor. Light carbonation. Medium body. More dry overall. My sample was very small, but what was there was very enjoyable b3shine (9072) - Indiana, USA - MAR 13, 2013
375 ml bottle to snifter (thanks alexsdad06). Looks solid; light for a brown ale though. A slightly cloudy orange with thin off-white lacing. Smells and tastes sweet, sour, and funky with a good mouthfeel. Good stuff! dagimp (1008) - Philly, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 17, 2013
375ml bottle courtesy of bro-in-law and sis-in-common law. November 2011. Pours a pretty pinkish red hue. Zero head or lacing. Aroma of berries, wine, green grapes and wine vinegar. Mouthfeel is very light and dry but waaaaaayyyyy too carbonated. Berliner Weisse-esque. Taste is lemony with berries, tart cherries, green grapes, faint cinnamon and green apples. A very good sour beer. Could have used some more depth of flavor but good.

Bottle. Golden -orange colour with an off-white head. Aroma is yeast, fruit, sourness, cherries. Flavour is yeast, fruit, sourness, cherries. Nice beer. PhillyCraft (7714) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 20, 2013
Bottle at Franks tasting. Pours slightly clear orange with white lace, light carb. Aromas of heavy cherries, grape skins, funk, and dust. Taste is same with some lemons, acid, dark cherry, oak, and vanilla. Very lingering flavor left in the mouth. Light to medium body. One of the top beers I have had from Allagash. I usually avoid them due to their pricing points but I was glad someone shared this at the tasting. Cheers. JulienHuxley (5909) - Sherbrooke, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 5, 2013
Bottle. Hazy copperish pour with no head. Aroma of light vinegar, cherries, kind of on the flemish red side of things, some brett notes. Taste is surprisingly rather sweet than sour, some cough syrup notes, syrupy cherries, light vinegar. Palate is a tad flat and medium bodied. Not bad, but definitely not one of their good ones. Bottle at home, courtesy of Aaron. Thanks man!! Pour is hazy orange with a small white head that quickly dissipated. Funk, dusty, citric acid, floral, tangy, dusty, and cat urine in the aroma. Taste is acidic lemon, tangy, wood, yeast, dusty, funky basement, and vanilla with a lingering sour finish. Light body with soft carbonation. Not bad, not bad, at all. cubs (10693) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - DEC 15, 2012
UPDATED: JUN 13, 2013 Bottle @ Stephen’s house, courtesy of Lukaduke (I believe). Thanks a bunch! Pours a somewhat hazy, bright orange appearance with a very small, off white head. Quite spicy, fairly floral, tangy pie cherry, somewhat funky, fairly yeasty aroma- not nearly as complex or interesting as Coolship Cerise Kind of juicy, tart, sort of like black cherry, slightly tart, pie cherry, slightly sour, kind of woody, toasty malty flavor. Not nearly as much going on as some as the Coolship releases.
