Bottle 375ml. corked.
Clear medium orange colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate tart, cherry stone - wood, cherry notes, light berries, vinegar - acetone notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light acidic with a long duration, tart, cherry stone - wood, fruity - berries, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Pours a muddled bourgundy color with light fizzy white head. Aroma is leather, tart cherries, and light funk. Reminds me a lot of a thinner Monomoy creek by Cisco. Pretty nice. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - DEC 1, 2012

Shared by Thorpe429 alongside several other Allagash sour/wild ales. Thank you very much, Mike!
The beer is dark brown and hazy with crimson highlights. The nose brings cherries, booze, yeast, funk. Notes of mushrooms and earth. The flavor is a bit odd and jolting. Booze presence is a bit too forward. Tart finish with moderately low carbonation. Overall, this was just OK.

Pours cloudy golden with a small off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, tart, vinegar, cherries and hint of acetone. Taste is light sweet and medium sour with a fruity, dry and sour finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is flat.
Bottle, 12.7 oz. An almost clear one, dark golden to amber in body and with a small, off-white head. The aroma is dominated by berry-like sourness, cherries mostly. Some lemony hints and a funky touch. It’s quite effervescent, medium bodied and tart, with flavors of berries, almond notes and some faint notes of burnt rubber I think. Lasting sour and berry-ish finish. Well, a pleasant beer, but lacks on complexity I think, and otherwise quite ordinary. 121109 chrisv10 (17288) - DENMARK - NOV 9, 2012
