UPDATED: MAR 26, 2012 Draft at blind tiger with max. Pours a hazy amber with light lacing. Aroma is sour cherries and wheat. Mouthfeel is carbonated and a tad too thin with notes of sour cherry, light oak, slight funk and sweet malts. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - APR 2, 2012
Draft on tap at Fountainhead (Chicago, IL). Pours a luscious deep copper pour, more fiery edges but a deeper dark copper middle and body. Cakey offwhite hear tan head that cakes atop, sticks around well and laces ok overall. Aromas are some touches of toast and biscuits and a deeper dry bretty funk. Cobwebs, dust, and mellow barnyard move into some cherry elements, touches of lactic acid, mellow yogurt, and more brett as it seems to take the reigns. Touches of sweetness still peek in from time to time. Brett forward as opposed to sour and cherry ridden. Initial is medium bodied, a bit fluffy and lighter on the palate as bretty funk and dryness takes focus. Restrained sweetness from the malt base does a couple peeks, touches of biscuits and bread. Mellow cherry, touches of tannins, and middle gets a touch tangy and tart. Some light sourness creeps in but dry brett stays dominant on my palate. Dry florals and dry brett take hold, a touch crisp into the backend and finish. Gentle or small cherry elements leave some mellow tang, tartness, light sourness. A touch of coolness, mellow herbal, as the cherries come a bit more into focus up front. A compliment, getting a bit more tart through the experience and opening up the complexity a bit more as I go through. Well carbonated and a bit effervescent, which provides a synergy with the dryness. More wild than sour. Nice solid beer with some nice complexities, dryness, and lighter overall. A bit different than I expected though. kindacold (235) - Norfolk, Virginia, USA - APR 4, 2012
Pours a red/gold with a quickly-dissipating lacy white head. Smells neutral, slightly fruity. Very mild for a sour, with distinct cherry flavors. More sweet than sour, and extremely clean mouthfeel. This woulda be a great lawn mowing beer, but with much more flavor. tastybeer (1853) - Indiana, USA - MAY 6, 2012
Draft. Pours hazy amber/ruby with a small white head which quickly dissipates. Aroma of cherry, funk, vanilla, earth. Taste is moderately sour, cherry, dust, tannins, earth. Palate is soft, somewhat flat, sour finish. Very nice. Thorpe429 (5035) - , Illinois, USA - MAY 7, 2012
On tap at Pizzeria Paradiso.
Pours somewhat cloudy with tons of visible carbonation. Color is a pinkish-red with a bit of a copper hue to it. Think head of fizzy pink-tinged bubbles that go away fairly quickly, leaving a thin collar.
The nose has a light fruity presence. Red fruit, to be a bit more specific. As it is served, it is hard to pick out anything specifically. Some lactic character behind that along with a bit of earthy funk.
The flavor is quite nice. It starts out with a hefty hit of fresh, tart raspberries, following that up with some additional acidity. Lactic all the way with some from the fruit. Nothing acetic. Pretty good Brett character. Seems like Brett B and L, though Allagash claims to have a house Brett, so who knows.
Bottle is light with carbonation that is quite lively. Effervescent to say the least. Dry finish, with a moderate level of acidity hanging onto the palate for just a bit, yet it’s not bracing to the point where I feel like I need to rest between sips.
Overall, this is really quite nice and I’m glad that I stopped in for it. The fruit and acidity are extremely well balanced and the beer itself is very drinkable. Highly recommended. Now I need to find a bottle of this.

Pour out of 375 mL bottle, thanks Aaron! Clear/slightly hazy orange with no head, aroma brought notes of cherry, touch of earth, vanilla, hints of earth, touch of grapefruit and lemon. Taste is a bit bland, touch of earth, grain, vanilla, some cherry, finishing lemon, slightly sour. gunnfryd (15175) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JAN 20, 2013

375ml bottle courtesy of bro-in-law and sis-in-common law. November 2011. Pours a pretty pinkish red hue. Zero head or lacing. Aroma of berries, wine, green grapes and wine vinegar. Mouthfeel is very light and dry but waaaaaayyyyy too carbonated. Berliner Weisse-esque. Taste is lemony with berries, tart cherries, green grapes, faint cinnamon and green apples. A very good sour beer. Could have used some more depth of flavor but good.

Very end bit of a 12.7oz bottle, thanks to Brad. Totally hazy dirty peach color, with all the sediment in there. No head or lace. Very nice tart cherry nose. Light nutty malts, good tart cherry flavor. Light carbonation. Medium body. More dry overall. My sample was very small, but what was there was very enjoyable Tmoney99 (14850) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 26, 2013
Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured a clear reddish brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy sour tart fruit aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy sour & sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet & sour finish of moderate to long duration. This is a solid beer.
