A hazy orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet spicy combined with notes of peaches, alcohol, and hints of hops. The flavor is very sweet and very spicy - I detect coriander, but also a fruitiness with peaches coming thru. The end is dry and still spicy. joergen (27996) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - DEC 4, 2005

Hazy gold - amber beer. Softish dry palate. Subtly spiced malt with a distinct orange sherbet but also something else vegetal. Finishes dry soft and spicy with alcohol aniseed and warmth. Tasty and drinkable.

Bottle. Malty and citric aroma, some yoghurt. Cloudy copper colour. Peppery, sweetish flavour. Medium bitterness. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JUL 19, 2005
(750ml bottle) Hazy apple juice body with big off white head, most of which dissipates fairly quickly. Aroma is moderately sweet, orange, lemon, coriander, light pepper. Taste is moderately sweet, orange, lemon, some banana, cantalope, pepper, coriander, light herbal, alcohol. Creamy medium-full body that leaves a light coating on the tongue, some acidity in the finish. I was skeptical of the concept, but I should have known better than to doubt Allagash (other than for Curieux). Lubiere (13796) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 4, 2006
Tasted at Belgium Comes to Cooperstown, July 16, 2005. Hazy blonde ale with a thick white head. Light sweet malt with orange peels and cilantro. Good sweet malt with light spiceyness, mainly curacao, and medium bodied. BeerandBlues2 (13216) - Escondido, California, USA - JAN 29, 2007
750 mL bottle provided via trade with beastiefan2k. Pours hazy dark yellow with a large frothy white head, mostly lasting, fair lacing. This was a huge gusher; I probably lost 1/3 of the beer. Aroma is heavy malt (bread, straw, toasted), average hops (flowers, grass), average yeast (dough, earth) with notes of apple, pear, honey and corriander. Full bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation and a bitter finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness, heavy acidity and bitterness.
