On tap at Cask and Vine while enjoying the company of Todd the Hoople. Lightly hazy deep straw with hints of purple. Fruity earthy spicy aromas and flavor with a bit of a jelly or jam edge to it. Interesting brew a bit outside of the box, not something I’d have often but glad I got to try it.

Aromas of red berries, red wine, pinot noir maybe, earthy. Hazy pinkish red, fully lasting white head. Fruity, pretty dry, savory. Medium bodied.

Deep complex aroma, raisin, plum, grape on the nose, very slightly boozy edge. Attractive clear amber colour, fine off-white head. Medium-full body, with a pleasant creamy mouthfeel. A great red-wine beer.

"2010 batch (cab franc grapes). I thought I’d love this one, and I just liked it. Victoria was it’s superior in a couple areas, which really surprised me (though it could have been the age). Nice grape accents and atouch of tart, smooth, easy drinking and a bit spicy and sweet."

UPDATED: AUG 27, 2014 Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a dark caramel-orange-brown color with a medium sized foamy orange-beige head that left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy bread, sugar, golden fruits, a bit of dark fruits, fig, toffee and caramel. The flavor was tangy and sweet caramel, nut, rum, golden fruits, dark fruits, a bit of astringency and a hint of perfume. Medium length finish. Moderately full bodied. Pretty tasty.

Bottle pour thanks to lukaduke. Pours a clear gold with a big white head of foam. Good retention. The aroma is dry, musty white grapes. The taste is a touch sweet and grapy and sweet. Bigger bodied beer with an effervescent and floral finish. Highly carbonated.

On tap. Pours a hazy amber-gold with a white head and lacing. It has a biscuit and slight wine grape aroma, and a flavor of sweet malt throughout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Damico (3147) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 10, 2014
Pours amber hazy with a sandy head. Aroma brings nutty and grapes almost like peanut butter and jelly, nice but subtle. The flavor brings balanced not overly sweet Belgian yeast dominating and smooth with grapes light on the backend. Body is excellent and not too bubbly.
