On tap at bagby pours out a golden copper color topped with a white head. Nose is rich malts some light sour notes grape and grain. Taste is more of the rich malts light grape and missing some thing. mcberko (18998) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 11, 2017
2013 vintage. On tap at Churchill’s Pub and Grille, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is fairly subdued, with light Grape must and Belgian yeast. Flavour is fairly sweet from the Belgian yeast, with fruity esters and grape must. A little sweet, but that’s balanced well by the grape must. Not bad. Sampler at the great lost bear. Pours brown with a white head. Not a lot on the nose. Kind of fruity on the tongue. Finished clean. Solid but not up to the standards of other Allagash beers.

On tap at SLL and 750ml bottle. Pours a medium amber color with a inch off-white head that retains a bit before becoming a thick ring around the edge. Fruity yeast aroma with notes of pear, raspberry and apple. Taste has a wheat presence to go along with the yeast. Some Bready notes and a pronounced sweetness. Alcohol is quite well hidden. Tangy and a bit prickly. Medium carbonation and a lightish body. skmikeg (1826) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 9, 2016
Pours golden orange with a one finger off white head with pretty nice lacing. Aroma is of fruits, grapes, red wine, mustyness, sweet malts, yeast, and some caramel. Taste is about the same as the aroma. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a mostly sweet, medium finish. Overall, a pretty nice belgian strong ale. tightslice (1438) - Redwood City, California, USA - JUN 24, 2016
