3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Batch #3 Corked 750ml. Average pure white head on piss gold ale. Suspension of yeast. Thin white head lingers whole glass with equally thin lacing. Was unimpressed upon first tasting. Now I'm convinced this is a damn good beer (maybe due to more yeast in end of bottle?). Very slight aromas of fermentation, champagne, aswell as orange. Taste is sweet at first followed by a hard smack of spice and citrus. There is a slight "doughy" taste (prob. due to all the yeast) closer to the end of the glass. This beer is thrist quenching at first, but becomes rougher towards end of glass. Overall a very complex beer, very different. Worth trying again.
A sophisticated Belgian wheat style beer. Hints of citrus make it extremely refreshing on the palate. Easy to drink very flavorful beverage. Great for warm weather dinner parties. Kleg (382) - The Beach, Florida, USA - OCT 11, 2017
Draft at Tuckerman's Tavern in N Conway, NH. Cloudy yellow pour with a white head and decent lacing. Too much clover taste for me. Pass. harpo40 (33) - Eastham, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 10, 2017
Easy-to-drink, tasty and refreshing. I suppose that's what a beer is supposed to be. Our tastes at least say so. We will repurchase more after our exploring is finished, if it ever does. ghostbeer (241) - Nebraska, USA - OCT 8, 2017
This was on tap at Warren's in Kittery. Very cloudy and yellow with a thinner white head than I expected for the style. Bready taste with good hop character and noticeable citrus. MatChar (90) - Quebec, CANADA - OCT 4, 2017
UPDATED: OCT 5, 2017 Bottle. Appearance: pale yellow, basically fully cloudy, white laces quickly fading away, low to medium carbonation. Smell: smooth yeasts esters, citrus. Taste: notes of lemon and perhaps banana, nice laid-back spices, surprising smooth and subtle and earthy and floral hops. Overall: awesome Belgian witbier, crisp and refreshing but still somehow complex, high quality entry level by Allagash.

Im Glas leich trüb, in der Nase Orange, typisch Wit. Im Trunk knackig hefig, fruchtig und deutlich spritziger als durchschnittliche Wits. Hinten süßer Abgang. Lecker Ding. rami_pl (4203) - Warszawa, POLAND - SEP 29, 2017

Bottled 01/03/17 Z: kolendra, przyjemny słód w herbatnik. S: gorzka cytrynka, lekka podbudowa słodowa. Z ciepłem coraz Wzorowy witbier. jandorris (787) - Warsaw, POLAND - SEP 28, 2017
W aromacie kolendra, jakieś cytrusy. Generalnie mocno orzeźwiające, całkiem przyjemne, mimo że nie spodziewałem się dużo po witbierze. wilnatp (723) - Minnesota, USA - SEP 21, 2017
Tap at Legal Test Kitchen at Logan International Airport. Easy to drink. A bit filling.
