it’s got that tripel yeast character in the nose (like duvel), some nice floral/citrus hops, estery. some alcohol sweetness. fairly clear light golden color, with a big white head that falls quickly. good dose of hop flavor to balance the alcohol. not overly bitter. sweet note in the middle. solid medium body. hop bitterness builds in the finish/aftertaste.

Draft. Hazy dark gold with a small, off-white head. Lots of floral sorachi in the nose along with citrus and some funky/belgian yeast notes. Belgian yeast flavors up front followed by floral and citrus hop notes. Slightly spicy finish. Alcohol is well hidden.

Deep, dark, spicy. Definitely in the heavy side. Not what I’ve been into lately, but solid.

Good but not outstanding. Easy drinking and tasty. On tap at a beer festival in San Jose.

Draft at the Gingerman Norwalk. Pour had a dark golden color and a one finger head that was sturdy and retained well. Aroma has nice fresh hops, citrus, sweet malt, and some yeast. Mouth feel is medium with good coating that sticks on the tongue. Flavor has sweet rich tripel malts, citrus, fresh green hops, yeasty spice, and a clean yeasty lingering finish. I dont usually coment on pricing but this one shocked me a bit at 11$ for a 12oz. pour.

Yellow color... Aroma of light malts, yeast, grains... Flavor is light citrus, earth and spices, notes of yeast and hops on finish... Fairly thin... Not my favorite from them, but decent ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Capone’s. Poured a hazy yellow color with a small sized head. Citrus, yeast, earthy, floral, and lighter spiciness.

Pours slightly hazy pale yellow with nice frothy foam. nose is not typical of a triple, orange and floral sorachi ace hops and slight juicy fruit. first sip is similar with beautiful fruity yeasty notes. finish is mild perfume sorachi ace hops. nice stuff.

Draft at Craft Ale House, and one of my favorite Allagash beers of all time. Pours hazy dark straw with clingy off-white head. Nose is floral sorachi hops, limey citrus, yeasty funk. A lot is going on in this aroma. The flavor is crisp and pops in your mouth. Upfront yeasty funky notes give way to hopcitrus, floral spiciness, and a crisp finish.

Draft. Hazy gold with a thick fluffy white head. Nose is heavy on yeast and earthy. Tass incorporates lots of citrus and tropical fruits with a little spice. Palate is dry and crisp. This is a very nice take on the Tripel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
