Appearance: Hazy golden with a thin white head.
Aroma: Orange, grapefruit, banana and some spices.
Taste: Sweet malts with orange, grapefruit, with lemon on the finish.
Palate: Medium bodied, creamy texture, light carbonation.
Overall: Solid beer, interesting. I would try this again in bottle to give it a more detailed review.
Tap at Teresa’s Next Door. Clear light golden, pillowy white foam. Sugary nose with present cantaloupe from the Sorachi Ace. Yeasty, lemon peel, doughy. Taste is sugar cube, chalky, dense, some kumquat fruitiness. Spicy mild alcohol. Quite sugary though, but it is a Tripel. jstraw (1967) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 28, 2013
Draft at Jerry’s. Yellow-gold with foamy, white head, lacing / Stylish, restrained nose of straw, citrus, passion fruit, coconut, and banana / Medium body, somewhat fat with soft carbonation, hint of sweetness but dry in the middle, excellent balance with lightly bitter finish / Flavors of straw, biscuit, pineapple, banana, passion fruit, and coriander / Another elegant Belgian from A. On tap at Hollingshead’s Delicatessen in Orange, CA. Served in a mug.
Yeast-driven aromas floated from the glass. Think champagne yeast and butter cream frosting with a light tint of lemongrass. Wasn’t spectacular, but different from the citrus-addled Belgian Tripels.
Frothy saffron head left cobweb lacing until dissipation about halfway through.
Taste is where this beer shines by introducing mulled honey, oven-fresh croissants slathered in butter, lemon zest, and a powerful vanilla extract kick in the finish.
The mouth feel is as creamy, rich, and buttery as the taste and aroma would suggest. Full-bodied and robust, yet flows smoothly down.

Pours a mostly clear pale yellow with a medium white head. Aroma has some tropical fruit and passionfruit...just a touch of spice. Flavor follows suit and adds just a touch of rindy bitterness...gets more bitter towards the finish. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is spicy/fruity and bitter. Mango, papaya, citrus fruit, and floral aromas. Hazy, golden peach, with white head, good retention. Off-dry, fruity, herbal, floral flavors, and snappy bitterness. Medium body, full, fluffy carbonation, and an earthy, herbal, bitter, lasting finish. Drake (14078) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 14, 2013
Served on draft at Beer Run. I’ve been after this one for quite a while, so, hooray! Pours a hazy peach color with almost no head. Aroma of herbal and citrus hops, herbal notes, earth, bread, mild spice. The taste is bready malts, big citrus notes, faint caramel and an herbal hop finish. Medium bodied, nice balance, mild lingering bitterness. Very nice beer. blipp (9691) - La Mesa, California, USA - JAN 12, 2013
Draft. Pours hazy yellow with a thin white head. Fruity, almost like over-ripe peaches, lighter floral notes, and some hints of citrus. Yeastyness and sweetness are relatively restrained. Pretty good.
