4.6% brown in colour with a good head, malty aroma and nice malty taste, not bad at all. By the way this beer is only 4.6% not 7.4%.

Copenhagen 3/2 2017. 50cl bottle from Meny. Typical Allendale mosaic in reddish brown on the label. Pretty cool design. Pours clear reddish brown with small white head. Settles as thin layer of foam barely covering the surface. Moderate lacing though. Aroma of sweet caramel, nuts, citrus and coffee. Not overwhelming nut really nice. Soft carbonation and medium thick palate. Flavor is medium sweet followed by a more pronounced bitterness. Bitter aftertaste. Lingering. A Brown Ale which suits my taste. Well balanced with an bitter edge.

Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. This is a hazy pale yellow beer that pours with a huge foamy head. It has a spicy fruity, earthy and lemon flavour with warming zesty finish.
