50 cl. bottle at home. The front label is blue, the back lable says 6.0% and the name of the beer is American Pale Ale. Anyhow I chose to rate it here. Medium high long lasting creamy and good looking white head. Clear amber body. Sweet fruity caramel aroma. Nicely hopped fruity spicy flavor with a low carbonation and a long dry spicy finish.

Bottle as Christmas present. Aroma is malt, hints of citrus and grass. Pours a deep gold with a lasting thin head. Taste is citrus, a hoppy finish with a medium bitterness. Decent, have tasted better from these guys.

rauchbier (3844) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - DEC 8, 2016
Bottle, from M&S. Gold, thin shortlived white head and low condition. Restrained aromas of tropical fruits, citrus, melon, sweet grain and a hint of yeast in the nose. Initially soft and sweet in the mouth with a quickly developing dry hoppy bitterness, theres some low fruitiness but it becomes quite harshly bitter and unbalanced. Finish is a long lingering dry bitterness that clings to the tonsils.

500 ml bottle, from Ales by Mail, ABV is 5.5%, 77 IBU. Malts are pale, caramalt and Vienna, hops are Columbus, Bramling Cross, First Gold and Galaxy. Golden colour, slightly hazy. Moderate white head. Pleasant hoppy aroma, notes of tropical fruits and citrus, hints of pine. The malty base is slightly sweet, but this is first and foremost a hopdriven ale, with grapefruit, pine needles and resin, also hints of tropical fruits, and a solid bitterness in the finish and aftertaste. This is an IPA in my book.

Bottle 50 cl. Hazy golden with a lacing, white head. Nose has some deep fruit and a little caramel. Medium body, very fruity, somewhat spicy with a solid, late bitterness. Not bad but I much preferred the one simply called Pale Ale. 121016

Cask conditioned at Cheltenham Beer Festival 16. Amber with white head. Quite a fruity, flowery, peachy beer this one, sweeter than expected, light caramel. Its okay.

Bottle. Hazy orange pour with dense white head. Aroma has lots of tropical fruit and pineapple. Taste has instant bitterness and this is dominating all the way to the end. Medium carbonation

Bottle. M&S. Hazy, light amber. Thin, dense, sticky, lasting, white head. Looks good. Nose has fruity, tinned strawberry hop. Ginger biscuit malts. Some lemon tang. Taste is light, pithy bitter. Soft, biscuit sweetness. Smooth, hop oily mouthfeel. Long, light, pithy bitter finish. Good stuff.
