Cask at Reading BF. Gold in hue, as you’d expect. Light lemon with a little caramel and a mildly crisp finish. Your archetypal middle of the road UK golden ale, and there’s nothing wrong with that on occasion. Mr_Pink_152 (5108) - Lincoln, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - APR 3, 2015
500ml bottle from the Pheasantry brewery beer shop. Aroma is sweet malt. Colour is deep straw with thin white head. Taste slightly sweet. Palate is slightly watery. Not the tastiest beer ever. weordie (1220) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - FEB 13, 2015
Pours golden with a tiny white head. Aroma is mild pine and biscuits. Taste is slightly bitter, creamy and a very small hint of hops. Would be perfect on a summers day. JohnCook101 (535) - - OCT 11, 2014
Decent enough. A fairly mild-flavoured pale ale, floral, lightly bitter. Hops could come through a little more. Summerbreeze (1) - West Molesey, Surrey, ENGLAND - SEP 11, 2014 does not count
Smooth and Comforting taste, very palatable, no bitter after taste, light refreshing and floral. This is one of my favorites!

Bottle from Dobbies Garden Centre Newcastle. Pours light golden colour. Flavours of fruit but a little bland. Refreshing if a bit boring olliejobbins (1578) - Dorking, Surrey, ENGLAND - APR 30, 2014
500ml bottle. Pours perfectly clear yellow with thin white head. Aroma is of sweet malts and hops, not much else. OK taste. Doesn’t last long. A little watery and tastes too much like a generic lager for me... Unfortunatrly wouldn’t have again because of this. SaintMatty (7423) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - MAR 5, 2014
Cask (Museum Vaults, Sunderland) - Golden in colour. Grapefruit, lemon and tea in the aroma. Crisp, hoppy and refreshing taste with lemon, tea, sherbet and grapefruit detected. Pyobon (1418) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JAN 10, 2014
(bottle) Golden, little head. Aroma had mild hints of tea. Light body, medium carbonation. Flavour starts with pleasant caramel notes and is mildly bitter. Overall, pleasant easy drinking. [Review from 23/09/2012] gegwilson (3727) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 13, 2013
Very pale golden ale with thin white head. A bit of a hoppy tang to the finish, but otherwise a pretty bland effort. Refreshing all the same and probably nice on a summer’s day.
