olliejobbins (1578) - Dorking, Surrey, ENGLAND - APR 30, 2014
500ml bottle. Pours perfectly clear yellow with thin white head. Aroma is of sweet malts and hops, not much else. OK taste. Doesn’t last long. A little watery and tastes too much like a generic lager for me... Unfortunatrly wouldn’t have again because of this.

Cask (Museum Vaults, Sunderland) - Golden in colour. Grapefruit, lemon and tea in the aroma. Crisp, hoppy and refreshing taste with lemon, tea, sherbet and grapefruit detected.

(bottle) Golden, little head. Aroma had mild hints of tea. Light body, medium carbonation. Flavour starts with pleasant caramel notes and is mildly bitter. Overall, pleasant easy drinking. [Review from 23/09/2012]

gegwilson (3752) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 13, 2013
Very pale golden ale with thin white head. A bit of a hoppy tang to the finish, but otherwise a pretty bland effort. Refreshing all the same and probably nice on a summer’s day.

Scopey (15264) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 6, 2013
Bottle at Langley Castle. It pours clear golden yellow with a small white head. The nose is clean, doughy, honey, leaf and a touch of metal. The taste is clean, crisp, citrus, mild bitterness, dough, honey and grass with a crisp, dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Good clean, crisp golden ale. Decent.

Idiosynkrasie (7721) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - SEP 9, 2013
500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy aroma, hoppy overtones with a fruity touch of pale berries. Taste is grainy and minimally strawy, minimally chalky, cautious fruity hints of pale berries; dry, strawy and chalky finish, light body.

Cask @ Diggers, Edinburgh [210813]
Light yellow, clear, dense white head
Aroma - Soft sweet fruits, slight spicy hop, some citrus lemon hops
Taste - Some floral hops, some soft cereals, light fruits, easy going, refreshing
Palate - Light body, little oily, touch soapy mouthfeel, soft bitter sweet palate. Finish - some soft cereals, slightly aromatic and floral hops, good finish.
Overall - More interesting than the standard golden ale, very refreshing, easy session ale, top notch condition

Cask gravity at Kent BF 2013. Hazy gold lasting white head. Soapy hoppy beer. It’s ok some interesting hop flavour. Some kind of antipodean hop I guess. Interesting.
