Try our spin on the traditional wheat ale. Alley Kat has managed to turn wheat ale into a fruity delight with natural apricot extracts.

Aprikat is based on North American style wheat ales. A great wheat ale stands out with a brilliantly clear and crisp taste. For Aprikat, we add a natural apricot extract to produce a nice (but not over-sweet) taste with a fresh aroma and big fruity finish.

Aprikat is brewed with 50% malted wheat and fermented with our house ale yeast. Aprikat has a medium carbonation that gives a light, crisp straw-coloured pour. 12°

(Draught) Pours a clear golden body with a medium white head. Aroma of apricot, cotton candy, and honey. Flavor of apricot candy, honey, and caramel.

Big Bubbles, heavy apricot nose. Better than the grapefruit but it really is just a decent beer with extract.

adamnowek (3504) - Brussels, BELGIUM - AUG 12, 2016
As expected, a boatload of fresh apricot on the tongue with a hint of tangerine. Aroma is more wheaty with subtle notes of apricot. A bit sweet.

I swear I rated this forever ago... thanks ratebeer, your app sucks. One of the first beers that got me interested in the craft scene, this is a very drinkable ale with fresh apricot flavour. My tastes now find it a touch sweet, but it’s really good nonetheless.

mcberko (19803) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 17, 2015
On tap at Alley Kat, pours a clear dull golden with a small white head. Nose brings out fresh apricots. Flavour is light, with faded apricot. Could use some more oomph, but it’s very clean and drinkable. Decent.

Mild apricot and grain smell. Gold with small white head. Medium carbonation with a wheat and fruit palate. Not pne of the better apricots but itll suffice.

blackmetal (249) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 14, 2014
Quite good actually as does not overpower with the flavour, no lingering aftertaste or uneccesary sharp notes.
