Overheard: "It has all these hops in it." "They don’t tell you how much." "One of each."
[Bottle (650ml) shared with Ferris, jercraigs & mabel -- c/o j&m] Pours clear gold with a small diminishing frothy white head. Mild aroma of fruity hops and not much else, but that’s O.K. Flavour’s the same, basically just C hops with a finish that’s more bitter then expected. Average bodied. Good, not great. jercraigs (10867) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 4, 2014
2014-08-26. Crisp dark yellow body with a small white head. 3+ Aroma is moderately hoppy, grassy hops, lightly alcoholic. Flavour is similar, modest hops, grassy hop character throughout. Muted citrus and tropical. Average plus bodied palate, moderate carbonation. Surprisingly mild for a DIPA. Disappointing. Bottle via trade with DuffMan. Bottle - Vegative hops and pale malts. Clear gold with a light white head. Pine and grapefruit with some nice bitterness and a pretty sweet maltiness. One of the better in the series.

Pale amber colour with tight, lingering head. Hoppy aromas of citrus and pine predominate. Taste adds more malt as per usual for the series. But hops soon rise to the front. Finish is long, bitter. But balanced. This bottle is perhaps a touch metallic tasting. I enjoy the blend of hops more than the single hops in this series. Maybe not what you’re meant to get out of the experiment but oh well DuffMan (10664) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 16, 2014
Bottle, shared with Robbie & Parksy post-RBAG 2014. Medium orange-golden, average white head. Sweet pale malts, candied orange, medicinal bitterness. Not nearly as expressive of hop character as I’d hoped. With this hop lineup, there should be beautiful grapefruit and pine blasting across the palate, but no-- this was subdued and minimally aromatic. Disappointing. Sample at SRBG 2014. Thanks Canada! Pours golden orange with a small white head. Aroma of fruit, floral, and malt. Taste is grapefruit, lemon, floral, pine, and malt. Pretty good. simonblaine (593) - Alberta, CANADA - JUN 27, 2014
Pours light brown, moderate head. Lovely looking beer. Fruity, floral and malty aromas. Taste is really good, piney, hoppy, not sure if it as strong as alot of double IPA’s, but it is really tasty. This review is lame, but it is hot out and I just want to drink this stuff instead of write about it. RCx240 (203) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 25, 2014
Pours a shimmering gold color. Minimal white head, which dissipates quickly. Strong floral aroma. Taste is a fairly even balance of pine and citrus and malt. Nice touch of bitterness on the palate. Probably the best of the dragon series thus far.
