650ml bottle. Huge beer, thick malt presence, some chewiness, very solid brew. deyholla (11609) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 19, 2014
Bottle thanks to someone! Pours a clear light amber with a tan head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of sweet grain with touches of caramel and toffee. Flavor is full of sweet grains and caramel with a touch of caramel. Ferris (15475) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 19, 2014
Bottle - Vintage 2011 - Vinous and caramel with some booze. Clear copper with a very thin white head. Orange, vinous and a nice long caramel sweetness. Nice if you can get it. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 19, 2014
Taster at RBSG bottle share. Moderately hazy dark red color. Thin ring of off-white head. Couple bits of lace. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Light slick finish. Big tropical fruity red jolly rancher aroma. Moderate sweet taste. Alright barleywine. Works, but not much special about it. Hides ABV reasonably well. Light earthy spicy hop. fletchfighters (1532) - AUSTRALIA - FEB 25, 2014
thanks to Oakedcanuck for the beer
330 Ml bottle 2010 vintage
Dark mahogany color, light tan head that falls to a collar. Thick ABV legs.
Dried fruit nose. Brown sugar, apricot, peach, and cardboard smell. Big malt presence. Hides ABV well.
Slights notes of oxidation but a lot of dried stone fruits and malt. Big full on beer. Very dry nose.
Taste and feel are the same. Big and dry. Lots of dry malts and stone fruits. Slight notes of oxidation but a strong, strong barleywine either way.

Pours cloudy Amber. 2011 brew. Unique nose, dried apricot, candied apple. This is an incredible beer, high bitter but the malt balances it out. DietPepsican (1591) - @ $13.99, Iowa, USA - DEC 2, 2013
Forgotten rot box "treasure" found @ moms house. Pours cloudy amber with a bunch of floaties. Aroma of raisins, cardboard, and wet dog. Flavor does not disappoint. Very sweet, and just old. Falls flat on its face in the finish even though it is plenty carbonated. Not the chips. tom10101 (6087) - Quebec, CANADA - JUN 3, 2013
Bottle (341 ml) 2011. Extra from kbudd19, thanks! Clear dark copper with a small quickly disappearing off-white head and no lacing. Aroma is of toffee, dark fruits, brown sugar and light alcohol. Taste is moderately to heavily sweet with toffee, dark fruits, alcohol, brown sugar and light pine. Light alcohol warming. Full body. Low to medium carbonation. Exactly what a Barley Wine is supposed to be. Rich and complex. Maybe a tad too sweet. pushkinwow (2793) - Ottawa, CANADA - MAY 9, 2013
Bottle from 2011. Mahogany with some sediment and a bit of biege head that disappears. Some plum, alcohol with a small hint of nail polish, vanilla, toffee, well blended, smooth, chewy bread malts. Mild carbonation, moderate+ body, sweet with a bit of a hoppy hit, still a little boozy after 2 years but I like the kick and bit of spice that it provides. Very tasty. robdoerk (13) - Okotoks, Alberta, CANADA - APR 19, 2013
Clear copper liquid, with a small orange-copper head that persisted longer than I expected for a 10% ABV beer. The aroma was more malt than hops; predominantly caramel. The flavour was also more malty than hoppy, with caramel again being the predominant flavour. Alcohol warmth was very smooth; not at all harsh or hot. Hop bitterness was very prevalent and lingered pleasantly long after the flavour had gone. Mouthfeel was moderately full-bodied. This was a very smooth and drinkable Barley Wine.
